Old Colin took a big step nearer early retirement today - he seems to be losing the plot.

Are you lot serious?
Drop Warnock when we get promoted, get Solksjaer in, or whoever.
Dont give Warnock the money if it comes, give it to whoever we get in to replace him... etc. etc.
What a crock or crap.
Promotion? We should be looking more over our shoulders than forward in my opinion, after today. Only Birminghams 2nd away win in 11 months... You lot are having a laugh.
Bates has come out to say its nearing completion to keep everyone sweet. Its probably no more near complete than it was at the end of June & That aint Warnocks fault by the way...
Money? What Money? If GFH do take us over, theyve said in most of their statements they want sustainable growth. Read into that what you will but I will read, They aint going to be spunking cash up the wall like you lot are after...

Re: Colin W4nk3r OUT
Since Colon became manager, I reckon we ve had 2 maybe 3 decent performances, - Middlesboro (A) followed by West Ham (H) last season. Those who have seen every game this season thus far(I am not one of the fortunate few) may be able to pluck a semi decent showing if pinned down and had pliers pulling finger nails out. (Everton springs to mind).
Quite simply, Colon is fast turning into the worst manager in our history, - yes along the lines of Adamson and legend Allan Clarke, and a line of wannabees in recent times.
We are playing (!) horrible football.it is sickening to watch. Crowds are plummeting, fans will not return unless this man departs. Its really that simple. Forget take overs, sick of hearing about it, if we get one, what happens next? A new manager? Who knows.
And yes, in my lofty position in NE Upper I heard the first chants of "Warnock Out" today, not many joined in, but I bet a pound to a piece of sh** there'll be a few more joining in at the Watford game if things dont improve.
Can anyone possibly explain what this man is trying to achieve with his team selections and tactics (I use that term loosely for where I sit I cant see anything that leads me to believe the team are doing any such work at Thorpe Arch).
We are bereft of any pace, forward running, attacking football. We have the slowest front 2 I have ever seen at ER supported by the worst midfield group in memory. Byram is the one shining light in this team, Lees has stood still this season but not helped with Colon moving him and Peltier around depending which way the wind is blowing.
Why is Peltier captain, never have I seen a leader so inept in his role. BTW did anyone else recieve an email from our captain this week? Now who thought of that one - absolute boll***

Because we Have no money we need a manager who knows how to build a club from the bottom up using academy lads and shrewd acquisitions. We need patience on the terraces and behind keyboards . What we have is Blackwell's mentor, a bloke who builds a side to do a job, a bloke who kills football games. No chances. No goals. No clean sheets. No flipping point.

Riot, That was my point. Are you lot serious?white.riot wrote:

You're all banging on about Warnock, someone is saying people were murmuring 'Warnock Out' at todays match, people saying his tactics are crap, the players he's signed arent Leeds players, someone (Yes you Riot) saying Warnock is a small club manager out of his depth at a HUGE club like Leeds... Are you chuffing serious??
Im as big a Leeds fan as the rest of us on here, from where im sitting some people need to get a reality check prior to putting there heads onto their pillows tonight.
There are smaller clubs than us in the premiership right now, but lets put the statement 'Huge Club' into perspective. Barcelona, Real Madrid, FC Bayern, AC Milan / Inter Milan, i'll be honest Riot, im not sure where we fit in with the heavyweights of European football. As much as id love to see us playing them in the Champs League, I dont think we're on the same planet right now. So to say we have a small time manager in our huge club dont ring true mate... Because of our Idiotic chairman isolating the fans, gates are falling - we're not even half filling our ground, something i suspect a huge club wouldn't struggle with.
You see, you have to earn your right to be in the premiership. That means you have a business plan. Our business plan is guided by our shrewd chairman you see... Selling all of our star players and not furnishing the current incumbent of the hot seat with the funds to replace them... This has led to Warnock buying / wheeling dealing where required. admittedly, Kenny, Pearce, Peltier, Rudy, Norris and in my opinion Doof have all been excellent signings, Varney, Green (Only because of injury) Gray havent really worked yet, but they will. Have these players replaced the 'gems' of Howson, BJ, Gradel, Clayton (I Liked him) Snoddy, I think they have. I think we are in a better position squad wise now than we were last season, especially with White and Byram coming along...
Unfortunately, it comes down to fans expectations. My expectations are, all the while we have Bates in charge, we will do well to avoid relegation. You cannot expect a team with no serious investment to do anything other than stagnate, which means consolidation. I like the players Warnock has signed, it doesnt mean they are going to get us promoted. It does mean however, I think they are better than the lot we ended last season with.
If we get taken over, and they lavish millions on the squad in January, then i dare say expectations of people on this site will go into overdrive. However, lets have a little restraint when calling Warnock a small time manager at a huge club... I think someone who has won 7 promotions deserves a bit of slack... He might not be your choice Riot, he was however YOUR messiahs choice...
