Seem to think a lot of people might realise how good he was now he has gone it is a certain fact we would not be in the position we are if it had not been for his goals. He has served us well and you cant blame him for moving on he has heard it before about how we are going to be a top side again but no progress has been made.

Cannot blame him for going, and fair play, who would of thought when he joined Leeds he would be playing in the Premiership, the game is going to die a death soon though, fans will fall out of love with clubs because there is no loyalty anywhere in this game apart from the fans, its all money.

Very nice of you, thanks.
Plenty if people on here give him a battering!!
Name one player who hasn't gotten a battering the last 8+ seasons here. Doesn't mean they are crap.
Last season was he any good?? NO
Think he did pretty decent for being injured and playing hurt for large swatches of last season.
We sold at the best time
Maybe, time will tell.

Same could be said for Howson, Snodgrass, Bradley Johnson and Beckford when they all went.

Thank you Becchio for all you did at Leeds, good luck at Norwich (he is gonna need it) - he is history now, time to move on.

You will always be welcome back at Leeds though :-D

Thing is Jo, thats not really true is it. Only Howson, imo, has shown any decent play since leaving Leeds. Snoddy mediocre, but a decent squad player, Johnson same. Beckford couldn't cut it in the prem (which I always said when he was rumoured to be leaving us) and is now at a team lower than us.

I don't think Bechio will be much different tbh.

I don't think that's true either! Snoddy is starting every week and has scored and created goals, Jonny has been forced out of the starting line-up recently. Bradders seems to play most games, but isn't exactly lit up the league.

And I don't think Beckford 'failed' in the Prem (8 goals in the league from a handful of starts, something like 24 sub appearances) , Moyes said himself that he had to sell him and wouldn't have if Crisps hadn't made a massive offer. Agree now that he's underperformed recently, but he's not exactly been at good teams since Everton...

Its not a certain fact that we wouldnt be where we are had it not been for hes goals, hes had the striker position to himself all season, and has done allright but hasnt been a world beater. Highly doubt we'd be in any worse of in the league with a different striker up front this season.

Becchio gets last 4-5 mins for Norwich. Both Soddy and BJ has looked quite good today, and even Townsend has looked good. Snoddy has got a brilliant left foot

True, but if he has any ambition of making it in the prem he has to be able to deal with a small push like that.
