Cant see him resigning as becchio bear said. His ego wont let him resign because that will look like he has failed. Think he wants to be sacked to detract away from the fact that he has done a below par job since coming in. That way he will play the martyr and blame all & sundry (as he does already).

Personally for me get rid. Get someone new in, woudnt mind Adkins or Di Canio and crack on ASAP rather than waiting till end of season to start all over again. At this time, with the formation, morale and manger we have cant see us going for a Reading style late push but also cant see us getting relegated either, so mid table here we come!

Awful football.
And to rub it in Leeds will actually try to play football AWAY at city.
When he goes I might actually feel better when checking leeds stuff out.
Because right now its depressing to f**k.
WE''RE LEEDS UNITED, WE''LL NEVER BE DEFEATED!

Paul Green was warnobs best signing.
If you disagree please send me a PM so we can get in to a fight.

I'm thinking the opposite really.

The league season has gone. Warnock was bought in to achieve promotion and has failed. His contract is up at the end of the season and I suspect neither will he be offered nor accept an extension. It will cost little to cut him loose now.

There is simply no point in retaining him.

Bring in the new manager now and he has real time to work with and assess his squad. Plan his summer transfer activity. Get the players we have playing proper football like we know they can after the cup games this season.

Do this and we have a better chance of hitting the ground running for 2013/14.
I fully appreciate that point of view and part of me does agree. Like I said I wouldn't mind seeing the back of warnock. I just think back to last season and feel that a change in manager might be more likely to send us down than sticking with warnock for the time being. Changing manager doesn't always work out. I think it would be incredibly disruptive to start altering things now although I guess it could be argued that things are up in the air now with warnock's future uncertain. I think GFH need to come out and make a statement of intent for the remainder of the season. Are they sticking with warnock or starting a fresh.

It is now time for him to go i was at the riverside last night and they way he clapped the fans when they sang for him to make changes was out of order. Now all the people who were against grayson must be wondering what they were saying when Warnock came.He is light years behind in tatics and most other things. Will he walk i dont know he has always been bigheaded and may stick it out.Luckily for him our next game is one we are not expected to win but Blackpool is a different matter.

it wouldn't even cost much to bin him off - just paying up the remainder of his contract.

they are paying it anyway, give it to him now and put a soft toy from the shop in charge, I suspect we would do no worse........

Agreed. Find hard to believe that the players actually want to have him as manager. We have seen other managers get sacked for better performances than colin.

as soon as any manager blames a player publicly, they should be halfway out the door IMHO.

Sometimes its for motivation which i understand...but Colin doesn't seem to be trying to motivate his players by talking down about them, he just seems to do it for a laugh.

I don't think that he is doing it for a laugh. I think he's doing it because he has lost his passion and fire for management with his retirement fast approaching. He wanted one last hurrah to go out on and now he's realised he's not going to get it he's just counting down the days. He's demob happy and I genuinely believe he just can't be bothered any more.

He tried, he failed. Why put yourself under the stresses of trying to do something about it? He walks away at the end of the season with a shrug of the shoulders and no feelings for LUFC anyway.

Sooner he goes the better, hopefully the rumors of him resigning will be true. Need to get someone in who actually wants to be here and who is capable of building a strong ambitious team and is here for the long haul.

Being in Warnock shoes would be frustrting to say the least , he was fart arsed around by Bates and the new owners about funds coming in and the rest of the bullsh@t since the of season , so maybe he's care factor for our club is nothing now , maybe in his mind he's saying to himself you've had a good run made a s**t load of money and time to hang up the clipboard only time will tell .
