Edit: Still saying the same thing, long haul, looking for investors, not wanting to sell majority stake.
They are fattening up the club to sell on the market.

Paul Green was warnobs best signing.
If you disagree please send me a PM so we can get in to a fight.
TBH what they have done so far suggests wanting to be around for a while rather than running with profit.
if they have paid £21 mill for the club and have put in twice plus the few players they have bought (summer was them too) they would need to get close to £40m for the club to make the £7m profit some claim.
it makes more sense they are looking to bring someone else in (minimise risk) then have a reasonable (not a spending splurge) push for the prem before looking to sell.
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.
Much ado about nothing. How refreshing it is to say that regarding the ownership of the club for once? Eight years of the con-man-in-charge has raised the pessimism level to new highs among the supporters.

all smoke and mirrors isn't it ...we all know players in was mostly self financing..
It actually says 10 mil to boost the squad and for other working capital purposes, which - to me - is not the same as saying the whole lot went on players

Well maybe - but having brought in 3 Premier League players (Tonge, Morison, Warnock) it's a fair bet that their wages were higher.
We all tend to look at transfer fees as if it's the only cost.
to the tune of 10 mill?...what are we paying them in?..

As I said smoke and mirrors, I'd be surprised if the squad running cost are significantly higher.

Very confusing. It appears GFH Capital who own the club are saying they want to sell no more that a 30% stake and are in it for the long-run whereas their parent company, GFH, wants to sell 100% of the club. Internal politics? Could the deal be that GFH sell GFH Capital (part of which is our club) to another party and the newly owned GFH Capital then looks for another invester for 30% of the club?

Now I'm confused.
Think the confusion comes from poor journalism, more than GFH, GFH-C, GFH-Z, or GFH-123. Just saying.

Could they have looked at the mess the club was in under Bates, thought nobody wants to buy them with the way he has kept the books, if we can sort them out we can sell the club on for more than we bought it for. Just doing a clean up of our accounts and ship us on?? How bad!!
