South stand movement taking shake nicely great last few home games in there!

Good man!!! Ye we have started a movement to get the atmosphere going in elland road again ss5 to be precise and the last couple of games it has taken off!!
Signing leeds songs of old and hanging a good time..
Plus in the second half the kop feed off us and went for it aswell!!

Yes wolfie i managed to stream the second half comm .this afternoon and boy did the fans come across as vocal as they meant it to.

I'll probably stick to my seat in N10, I have alot of friends around me & several sprinkled around the kop including my pal who I have a pre-match drink with in the kop bar plus share travel to away games

Ye of course mate no problem... It's taking off great. We are on about doing a range of scarves and a big flag/banner is being organised.

Starting to enjoy home games once again and home is where it starts!

What`s the elland road stewards like to the average supporter these days ?
I know noboby wants to hear really bad swearing and certainly nothing worse ,but industrail language is part and parcel at many games and wonder are there a bit of slack when one happens to have an outburst!

I say the c word (the bad one) on a regular basis and nobody bats an eyelid. At least in the Kop anyway. Not so sure about the south stand but I've not had a bad experience in there either.

As long as it's kept to generic, impersonal, run-of-the-mill swearing with nothing racist or homophobic or prejudiced then you should be ok

The lust got in touch with David haigh and co to ask the stewards to be more lenient in ss5 but all in all they haven't been that bad in the south as a whole exept for one lad that's getting singled our every game but haigh is taking his case on.

From reading on other forums, it seems Wolfie's lot got some hassle yesterday.

Random steward forrays, picking off those at the edge of SS5.
I had hoped that with bates gone, that SS5 would succeed where the Leeds Ultras couldn't - cos of over zealous stewarding in South Stand. Seems not.

SS5 needs a spokesman who can liaise with the club. Haigh and Co seem willing enough to listen to the fans?
Really hope this initiative snowballs.

I do remember back in the eighties early at that too and really was fascinated with Leeds fans at either end North stand and South stands intertwining if that`s right phrase .
And it may have been only let`s say a half full ground at time and the closeness could still be felt .Just goes to show what this club means to so many . MOT ...p p.
