Was Austin all over the pitch in a positive way as been having a influence for us .?
In your opinion were we really ordinarily poor in first half , ? or do you reckon we are feeling the going a tad tough now that the crowd is demanding some ood performances.
cheers PP.

Yeah I thought Austin was all over the pitch in a good way. He scuffed some passes but he got in some good tackles and if he lost the ball he charged after it like a raging bull. I think he's brill :P I thought we had a poor first half but improved in the second. The new lad Arybibi looked a little hesitant and unsure and a little bit lightweight. He did do a precision perfect pass towards the end though  The ref was dire imo to the point where my 8 year old suddenly blurted out that he was a crap ref and needed stabbing  a tad OTT really. :bear:
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Thank tou BB sounds to me we might have / should have nicked a draw.
Although they apparently might have been out of sight at h/t. Just me but maybe the weight of expectation has worn us down and time of year an all.

We were diabolicle today nothing short of pathetic. No width austin giving the ball away Murphy was absent smith was poor as was McCormack. 3 shots on goal summed it up. I'm concerned that this bunch of crap will take us on the road to nowhere. What a stinker we should have been 4 nil down at half time.

Kenny 5 injured

Lees 6good goal line clearance
Zaliukas 5 thought he was average today
Pearce 3 garbage was at fault for the first goal not playing to the whistle

Byram 7 did well second half but average first half suited him playing right midfield
Austin 5 ran around a lot put in some tackles offers very little going forward
Mowatt 6 did ok should have scored
Murphy 4
Pugh 5

Smith 6 scored
McCormack no rating. I can't rate a centre forward who never received the ball in a decent position. Very unfair on the strikers at the moment as the midfield isn't creating anything

Aritbi 5 lightweight
Pokemon 3 poor
Brown 7 he got booked for taking out cairney who ran the show today

Well what do we now expect from club ? about 2-3 new faces one has to be a centre forward in my view. And not to be to sentimental or patronising to anyone but a goal scorer aka Becchio would to definitely help cause .. well we need one.
A wide gifted intelligent pacy player is seeming still illusive can BmCD conjur up one himself please and soon,i can`t come up with any myself.[well going cheaply ]... defenders we seem ok.

In a good way you are kidding young lady, Austin ambles around like a headless chicken, awful player who has to go down in LUFC history as the worst captain ever.
If McDermott doesn't see the light soon & realise Rudi is a total liability we can forget about a top six finish, our midfield is overun every game because of this lump. Time to ditch him if BM can replace him in the January window, point is has McDermott got the bottle to axe his captain !

Blimey we are slow enough as it is so let's bring back Becchio

Everything is done in slow-motion with Leeds, we were 2nd to the majority of balls today which is nothing new this season !

Perhaps Austin isn`t as good as maybe he thinks he is [himself] not manager and he does seem to lose his self when caught out .Maybe holding and tackling are his dominant thing,ok so he can sit there and still be a player.Creativity isn`t his thing so lets` find that one player two at most who can change this.

Becchio scored plenty of goals for us little old man, that's what counts.

I don't see any comment from you on Murphy today?? I thought he was a pile of sh!te as I have consistently done, obviously the egg wasn't impressed as he brought him off at half time :| :bear:

only mowatt and byram came out that shambles with any credit and as for nicking a draw we should have been 4-0 at half time. we are becoming a very poor excuse of a side AND I FOR ONE WONT BE ATTENDING ANY MORE MATCHES 110 DOWN THE DRAIN FOR MY 2 XMAS GAMES

Mr Taylor, today's referee, gave perhaps the most inept performance it has been my displeasure to see in many years. I was worried when I read that he has been demoted from the Premiership because of the pitiful decisions he has been giving. It would appear that most of his red cards have been rescinded, and his recent decisions include allowing a goal for Chelsea when Eto'o kicked the ball out of the keeper's hands and putting the ball into the net! Today, I saw a ref who allowed TWO players who had required on field treatment to stay on the pitch instead of walking to the sidelines as they are REQUIRED to by the laws of the game. I saw a ref who watched a player kick the ball up onto his outstretched hand and let it go. I saw a ref who saw a player blatantly push Smith to the floor and let it go. These are only three of the decisions he got wrong today, there were many other examples, but I don't wish to appear picky!
The team didn't help themselves today..... when are they going to show what they can do, instead of running around like a bunch of pub players? I am one of life's natural optimists, but they are starting to erode that from my nature. We pay your wages, guys..... start paying some of that back please, or else I can forsee the return of booing the team off the pitch, and I for one would hate to see that.

Not been on here for a while but here is my review of todays game. The first half Austin was like an headless chicken chasing shadows, murphy was crap and smith was slower than normal and for some reason they didn't pass to Byram as much as they should of he was in loads of space so many times with his arms up it was unbelievable. The second half was a bit of an improvement Ariyibi was on and his first few runs and touches showed glimmers of hope but as said above he was lightweight but i have hope for him. We started to use Byram more and his hunger and brute stubbornness got us our goal and Mowatt played like a Leeds player should, Ross had no support and was always dropping back which then left Smith up front alone waiting for a cross to hit him on the head but we don't have the players to provide them crosses unless McDermott starts playing Byram more and maybe get a winger for the other side. Also the ref was a w**ker. Fingers crossed now that McDermott can use his skills as a former scout to find us a few match winners.
