Errrmmmm - what exactly is this doing in the Takeover thread? Is your surname Cellino by any chance?

Also, we don't encourage posters to post email addresses publicly.

so Farnan and Flowers couldn't get their heads together to sort out a joint bid..If Farnan can't fund a deal and Cellino is forced to walk away..where does that leave the moneyless GFH...there is no chance now to sell a player till summer...

if it came down to administration, league one or two football, the possibility of ground sharing and another 10 year climb to our current position or Cellino...which would it be

stupid question, I think I know most would take administration

Question is - will Farnan emerge from the shadows as Flowers seems to have stolen his 'limelight' over the last few days or is he just another 'nay' sayer hence his not so prominent role in proceedings over the last few days.

With regards to Cellino his actions last week around undermining the manager with his own 'personnel' before his taking over of the club as well as the undignified sacking of McD has already polarised the 'man' as someone who I would prefer not to be in charge of the club if at all possible.

But looking at things as they sit now it seems that having made the trip around the rollercoaster for the umpteenth time the ride operators forgotten to apply the brakes again and we're already heading up the first slope....

Farnan statement to follow according to Phil Hay..... Should be interesting!

"Despite our serious misgivings, we wish the team, the manager and fans well for the future and I remain a very enthusiastic Leeds supporter."

So, despite being an apparent life-long supporter, you are trying to ruin the club to get back at GFH by withdrawing Enterprise money? Someone correct me if this is a mischaracterization?

Yes Dan, it's a mis characterisation.

He runs a business which has loaned a serious amount of money to LUFC. He sees the prospect of LUFC, and the responsibility for repaying that loan, being passed into the hands of a man with 2 convictions for fraud who is currently being investigated for embezzlement.

As a businessman he has a legal responsibility under company law to maximise shareholder funds.

He is probably rather nervous about a large amount of his company's money being given over to a fraudster.

He is doing what he has to do to fulfil his obligations as a company director.

But he signed a deal with GFH for sponsorship, and he should honor that deal, for the best of the club. Any speculation on the innocence or guilt of Cellino had nothing to do with anything, except to try to hurt the club he professes to support.

The issue is nothing to do with sponsorship, it's the loan he put in in November & December to keep the club afloat

I thought he wanted to pull all sponsorship from the club in addition to retrieving any monies owned to him? To me, it sounds more like sour grapes on his part, rather than actual concern for the survival of the club.

He risked mixing business with his personal pleasures... and its not going to pay off for him in either respect.

If anything, it's going to serve a warning to any other semi-rich Leeds fans out there who think they can do good for the club.

In the middle of the season is not the time to get your panties in a twist because you didn't get your way, if one really, truly supports LUFC. Simplistic, I know, but think that is the boiled down version in my view.

Enterprise pulled the sponsorship, as did Flamingo Land, because of the illegal sacking of McDermott by Cellino on Friday. As a supporter he may well have concerns for the club, as a company director he faces jail if he does not act according to company law.

Tell me honestly, how happy would you be knowing that a great deal of your money was being given to a man twice convicted of fraud?

He gave money to Bates for the 2011-12 season for sponsorship, so what is the difference? His revised low-ball offer to GFH was turned down. And much huffy-ness ensued.

this is between GFH and Flowers...has nothing to do with Cellino, Why would you put money into a club you may not be able to purchase..?
