oy, stop bitching! Anyroad....one club we face next season has signed a surprise manager!

READ: Brighton & Hove Albion have appointed Sami Hyypia as first-team manager on a three-year contract.
Who knew he was even a manager?
I bet Norwich are hacked off - if the mean old b@stard had allowed Gary Mac to bring Lambert in then Norwich could have had him on a free within a couple of years.
Un Marcelo Bielsa, solo hay un Marcelo Bielsa. Gracias Marcello. Marsching on together.
Would we of been happy with Brightons Sami Hyypia because i don't think he's good enough when you consider the names banded around in the running for that job i think they have gone for a relatively cheaper option.

No i wouldn't.....employing the right maanager for the job is the most crucial appointment a club can implement hence the reason LUFC have failed miserably over the years
Pardon my french, and ignorance, but where and how the feck did that clown Hockaday's name get in the frame to manage/coach Leeds Utd? Isn't he the non-League guy who blew a (relatively) massive budget and failed? Did he play for us at some point? Is he mates with Massimo? I'd never heard of him until his name was suddenly linked with us
"When the going gets weird, the weird get professional!" Hunter S Thompson
The difference here is that who ever gets the job won't be in charge of any money they will purely be about getting the players ready for the next match. So anyone who has previously blown budgets on crap players so what they won't be doing it here

Aye, but maybe that's not all bad? We have expected so much from our managers in the past - only for them to fail and let us down. Maybe the choice will turn out to be a decent coach. If Cellino will be managing, the coach won't have the fan pressure on him.
Yes he will Twiggs - it's the coach who picks the team and decides the tactics, he is the one who will get it in the neck for every ( perceived ) wrong decision
Bates, GFH, Cellino: Same s**t, different arseholes.
I'm intrigued by how the 3-man short list was drawn up. OK, Gary Mac is reasonably high profile but Cellino can't know enough about English football to have targeted Hockaday and Dolan (most of us here had to Google them).
So who drew up the short list and based on what criteria?

Do you think Brian recommended his successor? That always works out...
Whose to say the 3 English men are any of the names mentioned i don't think anything has come from the club stating the 3 coaches being interviewed for the job
I dont actually think the club has said anything about names, i believe the hockaday thing came about because of some "big betting" and a bookies made him favorite.... hockaday making no comment as of course this gives him some time in the headlines.
I believe cellino said "90 percent of the names in the press have been b*llsh*t" - or something to that effect.
Im going to wait till ttuesday and fingers crossed be pleasently surprised.
