No, not from the club. Just the two journalists who spend their lives talking to the club. That's all.

Oh fekk!

Phil Hay ‏@PhilHayYEP 3m
#lufc head coach latest in tomorrow's YEP. Eamonn Dolan very close to the job. Definitely has Cellino's favour.

All the talk down here is that Dolans your new man. Bit of a shock here as its been a long time since he last managed a league club (Exeter) although he has produced excellent youngsters from the Academy. As we are in dire trouble everyones jumping ship here.Amazed that he would be on anyones radar least of all an Italian. Can only have come from a B MAcd recommendation. Good bloke and good coach - i guess thats all Cellino wants and I would imagine he would be very economic!!!

Yeah in years time we will remember McDermott under the same banner as Bates. 2013/14. The season of McDermott. The year were he was given full backing, squandered millions on high-profile waste of space players, dragged the name of LUFC down to an all time low in an absolutely disgraceful manner in a time when everything was going right for Leeds behind the scenes.

McDermott and Bates. A partnership set out to destroy Leeds.

 Twiggs you don't half spool some rubbish.

Your drivel tiring you out too.

Hunt's signing, on a free, was called using your resources. McDermott was in a position where he needed another striker and had no money. Not easy to get a recognised striker at this level for free. McDermott happened to have managed Noel, who was available on a free, and who had scored goals at this level. It didn't work out last season, but there weren't many other options out there for free. Free.

Plus all this McDermott recommending Dolan is pure speculation. On one hand, why would McDermott who has just went through some tough and embarassing times at the hands of Cellino recommend someone whom he might be friendly with to go through the same? On the other hand, why would Cellino listen to a recommendation from a guy he is firing because he doesn't trust his footballing knowledge and tactical decisions?

If Cellino wants Dolan its because he wants a coach, someone who has worked with young kids but not someone who will make decisions in the first team.

Oh and as for 'fook off'... it's a message board chap, if you can't stick a debate without telling someone else childlishly to go away, then perhaps you may need to contemplate what you are trying to achieve.

Apologies, Mango - that wasn't aimed at you. It was how I feel about McD and his Reading chums. Makes me swear.
Apologies again.

Surely too much of a coincidence. Not many Reading fans could name Dolan so its unlikely that Dolan would be on anyone's radar TBF. Could have come from Gibbo though? Is he still on payroll? Hunty was a great player down here and so was Kebe. They don't become bad players overnight. The atmosphere at the club was apparently awful. Look at Van Persie and Man utd. It affected his performances but he is still a great player. Players need to be motivated - and if they see the type of things happening at Leeds last season it will affect them. Hopefully a new start for you now.

At Reading we see the club in the hands of a recovery and distressed sales company. They have turned down two great opportunities to sell and are just holding out for a higher offer. Not interested in who will buy us - and inevitably it will go a a corporate consortium only interested in the site and land as its right next to the M4 and Reading town. We will be asset stripped now and back to the lower divisions. This 2 years after being in the premiership and acting prudently. Don't forget there is always someone worse off ha ha

Thanks for your input Trooper - cracking post
AFAIK, Gibbo is still on the payroll at Leeds. Interesting is your take that Hunt and Kebe were good players for you.
Leeds United over the past few years could have turned Messi and Ronaldo into rubbish players.

Disturbing news about Reading tho. Looks like (from your comments), you could become the next MK Dons  ...which is NOT good for the fans or Reading or football.
Hoping your club will not end up in that stupid situation - good luck

Cheers Twigster. Came up and watched a couple of games this year plus the away game at Brighton. You have an amazing following and deserve a better senior management than you have had Lets hope if Dolan comes , with Cellino you can turn things round (except for the Reading games of course!)

Yup, that was what Cellino said.

Pretty much like he was buying Elland Road back the day after he took over the club.

He's good at making statements about what he is going to do.

Indeed. Only weeks into his tenure and already he has proven his words mean nothing. Suppose with his integrity and honesty gone out the window, we must now ignore anything he says and judge him solely on actions. And it's a reality check for many on here, when he says "He loves Leeds United" and "the fans are the greatest in the world"... it's all talk too. He loves this asset no more than Bates or GFH did. All will be forgiven when he spends some whopping amount of money (but hey, we're no Man City!), gets some italian players in on loan (nor are we Watford) and coerces a few big names to step down a level (we're nothing like QPR).

Colin Hendry has left his U21 position at Blackburn. Hopefully just a coincidence.
What kind of music do you usually have here?

Oh, we got both kinds. Country....and Western.
