New Signings

So we have signed our first player...

Stuart Taylor has signed a 1 year deal with LUFC, This would mean then the Embargo has been lifted at LUFC and we should likely expect more signings in the not to distant future.

Im a little giddy again now :-)

Sorry to be pedantic, but it doesn't mean the embargo is lifted.

The embargo is on transfers, Taylor is a free agent so it's not a transfer (similar to how Peltier could join Huddersfield before the transfer window opened because he was released from his contract here)

And never really above 3rd choice at any club. Considering Kenny is likely to leave and the only other keeper on our books is Cairns at the moment, I would hope we are bringing in a first choice to go along with Taylor as back up.

he's a solid back up...for some reason never made the step up...Hung around with Arsenal for too long but that was his choice

The trasnfer Embargo is in place to stop you spending more money due to the failure to meet your payments, be it wages, winding up order, tax bill etc....

Surely the FL arent that stupid to only ban transfers that consist a transfer fee, as even free player cost money you still have to pay for their wages....

The Peltier scenario is completely different yes hes a free agent so he can sign for anyone he wants when he wants, however huddersfield are not under a trasnfer embargo.

Perhaps from last season, but this year they will need double doors to get him on the coach. Never seen this chap play but Kenny was terrible before he blimped.
