Bit quiet on the transfer front today but Leeds are still working on Sampdoria full back Gaetano Berardi deal. Should be signing number five. #lufc

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours
Leeds United are trailing Roma midfielder Federico Viviani.
The Elland Road side are gearing up for a promotion push next season and they have set their sights on Italy Under-21 ace Viviani.
The 22-year-old, who emerged from Roma’s academy, has managed only six Serie A appearances for the capital club and has spent the majority of the past two seasons out on loan.
Now sources in Italy claim Leeds could offer him an escape route from the Stadio Olimpico.
Viviani, who is valued at around £2m, has three years left to run on his deal at Roma

Yup, the twitter rumour of heskey started with a fake BBC sport reporter...
Someone had photoshopped and pretended to be a woman from bbc sport working in the industry, someone managed to do abit of digging and discover the origiginal photo belonged to someone working for a russian charity. I will never understand what someone gets from doing something like that..... the most pathetic thing.

Just had a text from my mate who is on holiday in Southern Italy and he has been talking to Andy Johnson, who's contract has just finished with QPR, and he said that Leeds have been in contact with him with regards a move to Elland Rd.

I'd certainly be a lot more enthusiastic about Andy Johnson than I am about Nile Ranger

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours
Hes passed it by a long way!
Hes injury prone, hes lost the pace he once had and his scoring record in the past 8 years is something you would expect from a midfielder.
The last 8 years hes managed only 32 goals in over 160 app's

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours
The Yorkshire club are targetting a move for the former Leeds winger, and are ready to battle AFC Bournemouth for his signature.
The 26-year-old left Elland Road for French side Saint-Etienne in 2011 for an undisclosed fee.
Gradel, who has a year left on his contract with Saint-Etienne, came close to joining West Ham United in January.
The Elland Road outfit are eager to add some depth and pace to their midfield and see Gradel as an ideal addition to the squad.
Dave Hockaday’s side have already signed four players, following the signings of Tommaso Bianchi, Marco Silvestri, Stuart Taylor and Souleymane Doukara.
Please Mr. Cellino pay him what he wants, it's a no brainer, in my humble opinion he's the best we've had at Leeds since we were relegated
