Bellusci, jogging alongside the scorer completely unaware of what was going on.

We seem to have signed yet another journeyman

Cook is the only one who has an interest in getting the ball forward.

I know certain people hate the idea of wide players, but this narrow diamond means that there is never an outlet when we have the ball, and when the opposition have it they can just go past us down the wings.

I had hoped with Hockaday gone we would adopt a better system, but Redfearn seems to like it too - unless it is being imposed from above by Cellino or Salerno?

If this is the chosen system it makes it obvious why Smith was sold, he would be a complete luxury if the plan is never to put a cross in.

Hardly fair, yes it was poor marking, but he seems pretty solid for the most part.

Cook really does deserve the plaudits he's been receiving - excellent head on his shoulders.

I think it's very fair - the bizarre back header from the edge of the area that almost found the top corner was bad enough, but his complete lack of awareness of what was going on when Birmingham deservedly scored was appalling.

He is not a step up from Tom Lees

Don't like the formation, but there are positives...The problem seems to be a lack of cohesion which is probably to be expected...that comes with time.

I like Berardi. Mowatt is trying hard. Cook is excellent. Any other positives?

...the fact Birmingham's not-quite-as-bad-as-us performance is mildly concealing how bad we are playing?!

We've had more possession and the majority of our passes are short and to our own players.

Couple of nice passages of play, just with no end product/final ball. Antenucci looks like he'll score goals if he can stay onside!

I like the possession play, I think this will reap rewards eventually. Silvestri, Cook, Beradi, Bianchi look quality, Antanucci looks better than we've had for a while, needs time to settle. Big fan of Doukara and there's the interesting prospect of Adryan to come...

the key ingredient is time...

Possession play is great it it is possession with a purpose. We are playing lots of short passes in our own half but with no idea how to get forward and hurt the opposition. No width, no pace, no invention, no clue.

Way way better once Doukara came on - a player with pace who knows how to trouble defenders. A deserved point in the end
