As others have said, giving Redders the job full-time, only for our trigger-happy owner to give him the spanish archer, would be a disaster for the club. He's too important an asset and is doing good things with the Academy. He's a steadying hand at the minute, hopefully allowing Cellino to take his time and get the next appointment right

Re: New Manager / Coach Rumours
It's nice to see that Cellino believes that too! It'd be great to see Redders working closely with the new manager (coach, whatever), maybe as an assistant of sorts, in order to help him get to grips with the large squad and integrate play styles from the u-18's through to the first team.lufc1304 wrote:This![]()

I understand that Cellino and Milanic spoke on Sunday night. Deal isn't done but he's the coach Cellino wants.

Looks like he has a really good track record as a coach
does anyone know anything about how his teams play?
If this is the way we are going it's much better than the Hock and potentially better than some of the "coaches" that have thrown their hat in the ring, if you believe the media
And to top it off a great win last night and Redders will stay in charge of the Academy

It's my understanding also that Darko Milanic is very close to taking #lufc job. Nothing done yet but looks like he's the one.

According to Phil Hay, Darko Milanic has triggered a release clause from Sturm Graz and will become our new head coach next week

Yep it's all over twitter. Milanic will take control of his last game tomorrow for Sturm Graz. Coming to England to finalise the details on Sunday.

Phil Hay @PhilHayYEP
It sounds like Milanic is basically paying to secure his release from Graz (via a "walk-out clause"). He's under contract until 2016
as in like WE are paying??
