The good thing with the Manager/Coach being removed from the buying/selling of players is the hope that we don't have the clogging up that we have had in recent years with managers bringing in their mates on big contracts or buying short term players. Cellino's policy of buying younger players is one I wholeheartedly agree with and once we move on some of the unwanted players still at the club we should have a leaner squad but with more quality.

As for the new coach hopefully he will have a similar effect to Pochinetti who came in to a Southampton side doing well and improved them.

A rather rare circumstance that a manager is coming in to take over a team that is on top form. No drastic impact required from Milanic, he can ease himself in, the in-form squad is pretty much established, the fans are content, the owner is in a patient mood, and the most current 'manager' is still with the club to offer guidance. Let's hope for a Pochettino effect, or even just the Southampton effect (as they look to be doing pretty well even after the mass exodus of stars and manager)

If Darko has any sense he will listen to Redders advice regarding the players....and there is plenty of video footage available of our games this season, for him to see for himself.
I just hope he doesn't barge in like a bull in a china shop and break everything, to stamp his mark on the club. No doubt he will have some Austrian/Slovenian players in mind for the loan window?
Actually - how many loanees can we sign in this window? We must be very close to the quota allowed?
