At least now we don't have holy wars between Catholics and Protestants. We don't have the Westboro Baptist Church or the KKK, and it's been YEARS now since Catholic nuns stole babies from poor Spanish families to sell to richer ones telling the mother the kid was stillborn. Christianity had no role in Hitler's ethnic cleansing policies, nor in Anders Breivik's rampage in Norway. There are no Christian ministers who lock up gay teens and try to brainwash them out of being gay, and their stance on condoms saved millions of Africans from HIV. They simply adored the Raj in India. Oh, and praise God that the centre of world Christianity, Vatican City, has a legal age for sexual consent of 12 years old.
According to your thinking these modern atrocities, many of which are happening as you read this, justify the bombing of all Christian centres with the number of deaths being perfectly acceptable because the few who practise such things are deserving of death.
I'm tempted to use a rolling eye emoticon, but I won't. That would be hypocritical.
This is a monster created by The West in many respects - in my opinion - and serving as an outlet for the (misdirected) frustrations of many. It is something with overtones of the The Irish Problem' in terms of its genesis.
