Video of protests before Blackpool game

Hi, Blackpool fan.
Just thought I'd post a video of the protests before last saturday's game.
You'll be aware some Leeds supporters joined in for some anti-Football League chanting.

No team or fan base deserves that.

Yep! Profits up to £9.45m, loans to Oyston companies up by £4m to £27.7m. But couldn't even put out a full bench for the first game. Then a rotating cast of mostly substandard players that nobody can identify with, 51 of the sods. Pitch is a disgrace, mainly because the training ground isn't fit for purpose and hasn't been for 30+ years. Sueing fans, abusing fans, they don't give a s**t. Worst I've known and I've been going since the 60's! Cheers anyway!

No, you lot got me thumped by fans of my boyhood second team, Liverpool!
Went to Anfield to watch them for the first time when I was there a student in the 70’s, with a couple of Leeds fans.
Told them to take off their scarves until they got in, one refused ... Wallop.

Did you see dear old Jimmy Armfield play ? Ray Charnley was a decent centre-forward in the 60's & then there was Alan Ball. Revie almost signed Ball for Leeds, what a midfield that would have been.....Bremner, Ball, Giles

Jimmy, yes, a neighbour used to take me on now and then from the 65-66 season, I started going to most games from 1970. I probably saw Ball but have no memory of it, I do remember Ray Charnley though. He stayed in the area and my wife spoke to him quite a bit when he was in hospital prior to his death. Yep, that would have been a scary midfield

You have my sympathy Raisin, we've had years of mismanagement by a certain bearded Smurf lookalike and it hasn't been pleasant. IMO clubs like ourselves Blackpool, Pompey, Coventry and Wimbledon have had a raw deal under owners who purport to "Have the best interest of the club at heart" because they are "Lifelong fans" or "Want to take the club forward". We are all paying fans and want to watch decent football but unfortunately it all boils down to money. It's like Britain in general, the rich get richer and the rest of us carry on the struggle.
I need to calm down, I seem to be getting all political and bitter this week, maybe it's because I'm working down in Bournemouth and not home while Good Friday.

Sadly, I cannot top the 'currant' joke ... No one really gives a toss about the latest batch, but no doubt they'll seem like world beaters compared to the next lot, it isn't going to get better.

As for you, I think most people of my generation expect Leeds to be a top division side and with your fan base it's almost ridiculous that you're not back there. Hope Thommo does well for you, it's becoming ever clearer what a gap he left on the coaching side.

Alan Suddick eh.....scored alot of goals i seem to recall

Thompson has been very influential since his arrival, he is responsible for resurrecting Luke Murphy's form whom has been instrumental in our recent good run, Thommo has been a massive assist to Neil Redfern
