Getting Woods is a decent sign that the management team are getting their act together.

All the reports I read suggested he was heading to Wolves as his preferred option, but somewhere in the process someone has sold him on the club and we land him. This is a very positive sign for future high quality signings where we are after players that are in demand, we need to be able to sell a vision.

I've no wish to be a nay-sayer, but has anyone stopped to ask themselves why Cardiff are happy to loan him out. As a club witrh aspirations of getting back to the Prem, I'd have thought they'd have been holding on to their better players. If he's deemed surplus to requirements......??

Was having the very same conversation with a friend last night and I do take your point.

But equally we have to remember different managers like different things in players. Adeymi was signed by OG Solskajaer when he was the manager, he has been subsequently sacked and Slade the current manager of Cardiff obviously thinks he has better players in Adeyemi's position, that's not to say the lad cant be a good player for us though.
