Cracking goal by Wood. Makes such a difference to how teams can defend against you if you have a striker capable of smashing it past the keeper from distance. Keeper never moved as it was past him before he could move.

Absolutely fantastic - what a way (and against what a team) to break a duck.
I'm sure that's made a lot of people's weekends - certainly mine.

Back to one of weasel's comments, I wonder if Rosler's walking over the puddles yet! :-D

Yeaah !!

i'm delighted for this wonderful victory at the Derby

in the last years we have suffered much at Pride Park and this give me more satisfaction for this win

we have played well and the team it was compact and with a wonderful phisical condition because we played fast and we have fighted for recovering the ball

good performance for the our young players, but Byram today not good

Berardi 7

Back line playing well. Cooper doing his long ball to Byram, who seems out of sorts
I would put Mirco on for him and Murphy on for Mowatt around the hour mark.
Wood looks like he is putting himself about and could get a goal.
Derby is missing Will Hughes.

Their fans were in despair at half-time & then again when the stunning Wood strike flew in. We were stood right next to them

Just managed to catch replays of the goals. Wood's was an absolute peach. Stunned Adeyemi had so much space in the box too.

He'll score a few more like that as he is a midfielder that drifts into the box from deep

A fine young prospect

Our best performance of the season in front of the telly camera's. I wonder what odds the bookmakers are offering for us to be relegated now  We made Derby look poor in the first-half for all the money they have spent on building their squad. They looked more like lambs than rams. Unfortunately we came out in the second-half with lead in our boots allowing them to to equalise quickly & put us under under sustained pressure for fifteen minutes. Rosler made the correct substitutions replacing Byram & Mowatt with Murphy & Antenucci & we soon grabbed the game back taking control enabling us to go on & seal a deserved victory after a stunning strike from Wood. A great day out as we beat the invincibles :-D

Brillant result and what a shot by Wood.A battling show from United.Impressive defence barring the slip up from Cooper though he did play well.Up the park we were guilty of poor delivery slot ,certainly at set pieces.
Collectively we stuck at it and pressed them back though we possibly wer'e at times a bit too rash when a cool head is needed.

Hope we sign a new centreback this week. Cooper needs to go out on loan as once again he has been turned insie out for the goal we conceded just like last week v Sheff Wed. Yes apart from that he had a reasonable game but we can't keep giving the opposition a goal a game by poor defending.

Now that we have the break a few ins and outs will happen with 2 to 4 likely to definitely go from the first team squad.
