As for Evans he has achieved quite alot at lower level football whilst everybody's favourite German manager has achieved nothing. FACT !!

After saying that Evans wouldn't have been my choice as once again i feel we've appointed another manager out of his depth

Not getting bookings is no way to judge the team! Would you rather players were fouling and picking up suspensions?! We clearly did make tackles on Saturday, they were just fair. I seem to remember Cook and Mowatt flying into a couple.

Fair enough we are quite a small team for the Championship, Bamba and Wood aside, but that shouldn't be a hindrance if we have possession!

Evans may have achieved more than Rosler, but he was diabolical last season. Maybe we're hoping to go down so that he's at his level?

what you're saying is say a manager who gets a team promoted to say the prem, and then keeps them up that season but only just about did a bad job?? No of course he didn't, you have to have expectations. Like Martinez at wigan - at a team with limited resources there's only so much you can do - send him to Everton and club with considerably more resources and he can do a better job....

i'm not saying he's a great choice, I have no idea, but no way you can say he isn't suitable for the job on his track record?! you can't always recruit a manager from the top down, otherwise managers would never be given the chance to step up a level!

And yet you continually slag Grayson off despite him achieving promotions from League 1 with 4 teams, never getting a side relegation and having a record with all his clubs of always finishing higher the next season.

What we have now is another huge backwards step. In Rosler he idea was to develop a style of play based on possession - now we have a long ball merchant in charge. So the last few months have been completely wasted and we have another short term appointment who is under pressure from day 1 to get wins.

Absolute madness and another day where our club's image gets flushed further down the toilet.

Steve Evans - Not proven at this level. Similar CV to Rosler so what's the point. The fans don't want him or like him. Will the players be of similar thinking to the fans? Will he lose the dressing room from day 1?

Players - Cook, Mowatt, Taylor, Byram, Phillips etc. Will they want to stay put under Cellino in this environment? Or will they be onto their agents saying Im a Leeds player. Get me out of here! ...Cook, Mowatt, Taylor, Byram will any of them be here next season? I'm dubious about this now. Other clubs will see what's happening and be sniffing around without a doubt. The Norwich scouts have probably already made contact!

Staff - Will Paul Hart want to stay put at Youth level and continue his plans? Will any decent respectable coaches want to come to Leeds under Cellino?

League One - Can't help but think this is the direction we're heading now. To be honest I'd take that, if it means Cellino sells the club next summer!

The pro-Cellino brigade can put whatever spin they like on this but, under this clown, we are going nowhere fast. Impetuous, impatient, headstrong, those are some of the nicer things you can say about him! His money might have steadied us financially, but from a footballing perspective, we're spinning our wheels. At best. I am a firm believer that Each footballing side has their own identity and play in their own way.

In my Eyes Leed United are a 442 team with box to box central midfielders actual wingers and a strike parternship up front, That is our identity thats Leeds United.
Any manager coming in needs to be reminded of that fact and we should play the Leeds Way not the Dortmund Way, The Barca Way or any other team thats doing well but if we play like Leeds we will win more than we lose.

my ideal 442 would be this

I would also like to see wood paired with Erwin as they worked well together in pre-season.

Onto the Owner! for all the good he has done the club he has equally done just as much bad. its 2 steps forward 1 step back. financially we appear alot better off but on the pitch the same frailtiys show and the lack of stability is the only reason for this.
We are back to square one again with the squad and the players and they have to learn how to play someone elses tactics. This cycle will not end whilist Cellino is in charge unless by some miracle the coach pulls a rabbit out of the hat. One bad run and your gone a manager cant be put under that type of pressure and expect to suceed.

the FL banning Cellino is the only out i see and then someone buying the club from that as he is stubborn and will not sell unless forced.

We'll never progress by sacking managers every 10-20 games. Especially if we're replacing them with someone with such a different 'philosophy' or lack thereof. I have no idea what Cellino is looking for in a manager - does he expect to find someone who'll come in and just win every game?

I have been a defender of Cellino up until now, but I think this is pretty much that stance gone. I appreciate that he's sorted us financially, but we'll never get anywhere with this chop and change mentality.

I'm in a minority here...I actually like Steve Evans. But me liking him doesn't mean to say that I see him as the right man for Leeds United. But then again he might just prove us all wrong! The man certainly has passion which is what our players have been lacking. If he can instill that into our team then that'll be a start. I suppose we give the guy a chance....who knows what we might achieve. Wednesday at Fulham will be interesting!
