Just realised no matchday thread had been posted up as I head off to bed. Breakfast in Billy's probably the highlight of the day before setting off over the border tomorrow morning.
God knows what team will start for this one
Can't see anything but a loss, a comfortable 2-1 win to the clarets i reckon
4-2-3-1
GK Silvestri
RB Berardi
CB Bellusci
CB Cooper
LB Taylor
CDM Bridcutt
CDM Murphy
RM Dallas (as he is better defensively than Botaka in my opinion, which will be key in my opinion)
CAM Mowatt
LM Cook (maybe not playing as an out and out winger, however, I think Cook playing here provides Taylor with extra cover against George Boyd and allows Taylor to go forward more often).
STR Wood
Subs: Peacock-Farrell, Wootton, Coyle, Dave, Botaka, Carayol, Antenucci.
yep 4-1 Burnley with Bellusci scoring an own goal after one of his free kicks cannons at pace off their crossbar, flies the full length of the pitch before dropping into our net, unlucky though because he did actually manage to get back but his clearing bicycle kick was to no avail ...though he did knock out Silvestri, who was in disguise because he was of course suspended....Ironic also because he probably would have saved it were it not for the Grouch Marx moustache, glasses and eyebrows he was wearing. Swallowing the cigar didn't help either

mmmm but actually can't disagree thinking we are going to get thumped today
A bumble bee under the laws of physics shouldnt be able to fly, but it does because no one has told it that it can't
Where did the season go wrong? We started the season against Burnley, played some great football, kept possession well and were unlucky not to win. Fast forward to today and we again play Burnley, we are totally shambolic, 1-0 down after a minute and probably going to get a good hiding.

I've pretended to support a team that's been crap for most of my life as part of a long term plan

Did you post them because there's something wrong with your brain
Deserved at least a point today, but we have no cutting edge. Ant should have replaced Carayol at HT, that lad is a waste of space. As for Wood, the least said, the better. Back four looked fairly solid, Cooper and Taylor in particular, and Murphy and Dave were neat and tidy. But we are crying out for some creativity; it's all well and good having lots of the ball, but we rarely do anything positive with it. Better coach, better organisation and more goal threat and we'd be a match for most in this league.

As much as I have defended Wood this season. It is impossible for me to defend the 3 or 4 huge chances he missed today. His heading has been poor all season in my opinion.
