Pretty much a ditto from me but especially for the first 10-15mins I think Kalvin should drop back and make sure we are secure in mid/defence so a 4 3 2 1 to start with.

Grot needs game time so he should drop to the under 23s and get a few minutes and goals under his belt

Lot more to come from Ali, talent is there.

But its more defensively, Alioski does far more then Hernandez, in fact he has more tackles per game then Cooper and Jansson. Agree he needs to do better, but leaving Dallas to deal with Canos would be a mistake imo.

Yes Canos destroyed us last season in fact the whole Brentford team swarmed us & looked like world-beaters. How we got away with just a 2-0 defeat after that battering is beyond me.

Just hoping my 16 hour+ day to & fro London isn't another nightmare experience

Berardi, Phillips & Cooper all in contention for tomorrow's game. I suspect all three will start

What has undone us in the past is flair players cutting own defence open
Bannan for SW and Duffy for SU are recent examples. Our problem seems to
be that we are not dealing with these types of danger men effectively. We
don't dump them on their arse and we give them free range all over the pitch.

We have our own flair player in Saiz and the opposition knows this and will
attempt to mark him out of the game, though he does produce some magic
especially for that pass for the Lasogga goal in the SU game.

The other thing about Bannan and Duffy is that they have players who run into space
and are just waiting for the killer pass. Whereas with Saiz he will often have to check
his play because there is nobody getting forward and taking up good positions
to receive the ball or score. The rest of our team seem to stand around with their
hands in their pockets, sort of mesmerised by his skills and expect him to do it all.

He is perhaps the best player on the team but because he does not get the right
support his full potential is not realised.

I like the look of that team. Hopefully they'll get us back into the top six! Most results have gone our way this afternoon. Villa, Cardiff, Norwich, Derby, Preston all lost. Unfortunately both Sheffield teams won and Forest have pushed us into eighth. (Bbc have us as 8th and sky have us 9th!)
