Champions League Semi-Final 2017/18 - Roma v Liverpool

Post by 1964white »

Premier League clubs have created Champions League history, with five qualifying for the knockout stage

Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham have all progressed, making England the first country to have five teams in the competition's last 16.

Liverpool were very impressive beating Spartak Moscow 7-0

Sensational 4th goal volley

Would love to see Leeds playing in the Champions League again

For now just getting back into the Premiership is the first priority

Great achievement, four of them were group winners with only Chelsea letting us down by finishing 2nd. Imagine if they were all English players, I'd be tempted to put a large sum on us to win the World Cup.

Juve v Spurs has the potential of being the best games.

Chelsea have the toughest draw, can see them going out but the other 4 could well progress.

Chelsea will have to be at their best if they are to overcome Barcelona

City got the easier draw of the five prem clubs

Real v PSG is also a top game

Harry Kane pulls one back for Spurs who have been much the better side since they went 2-0 down

Wow what an awful penalty from Higuain who was on a hat-trick in added on time after a fantastic pacy run from Costa who was taken out

Could change the whole complexion of the game

Looking forward to 2nd half.....it's like watching Leeds ;-) :rol:

Saw him miss the penalty, did the goalie just get a finger tip to the ball? I'm going to lose both games now as two recordings kick in at nine o'clock :(

Dislike Klopp, hope Porto go through.

RM v PSG will go either way, a classic or they'll just null each other.
