I'm going to say no to Biesla, we'd need a perfect storm for him to succeed and I've a feeling if it goes tits up it's going to effect us for years. We'd be basically putting all our eggs in one aging, unreliable basket.

No to Stockdale we have better here already.

Jansson likes to speak out, I'd take it with a pinch of salt. I think we could sign 4 10M players get the best manager out there and if say Wolves came knocking he'd still be gone. Hope he stays or hope we get over paid if he goes.

I think it would be quite a coup if we did get the Argentine.

It would certainly be entertaining. We're Leeds - we love the drama!!!!!!

There was an incident some time ago that some disgruntled Rosario fans turned up at Bielsa's front door.

Not only did Bielsa answer the door, but did so with a live hand granade in his hand......

The crowd dispersed.....
He would certainly make things interesting.

Just have think it will either go really well or horribly wrong.

If it goes wrong it could cost us a fortune, i imagine his contract will be substantial, dont want us overstretching ourselves for a guy.who could be a disaster.

please let this be it , few days of hype and negativity then lets knuckle down get the new players in and get training , lets have a manager who runs the team not a team of players dictating to the manager and all this he lost the dressing room boll0x , Ferguson , Revie , Clough they never suffered this fate and I don't think the new man will put up with crap like that ,

Evening Faaip, a very conservative view, but we all remember the Ridsdale era don't we...

Evening Bert, I think back then players had more respect for their bosses / clubs.

Nowadays players are made out to be mega stars living millionaire lifestyles.

Evening.

I really dont know lol.

Usually i have an instinct, did with Hecky.

Im torn on Bielsa.

His reputation is immense, his tactics are revolutionary, his worldwide appeal is good for us business wise.

But

He is so unpredictable, he will be very expensive, at 62 does he have the desire?

Will we provide the funds, will our notoriously fickle fanbase be patient?

If it was me i wouldn't pick him.

Id go for Matias Almeyda.

Woke up with a bad feeling today, something tells me Bielsa wont be our manager, not sure why. Have a niggly feeling it will be Matias Almeyda we appont.

Dont know what Radz could say to convince him, he would demand a huge transfer kitty, he would want massive wages himself, and at 62 does he really want to move to a new country where he doesnt speak the language?

No to Stockdale from me, another who being from Leeds has turned him into something he isnt. 2 good seasons at Brighton, thats it, he is 32 and has spent the majority of his career as back up.
4 seasons as 1st choice really.
2 good for Brighton.
2 bad , 1 for Brighton and 1 for Birmingham.

Not worth the hype or the cash. Ok gk but thats it, ok, 40k a week is to much for ok.

He is entitled to say it, but he needs to stop hinting at leaving, its getting on my nerves. If he wants to go then go, he is saying a bit to much now imo, next time he is asked "no comment" will do. Can understand his frustration, but as a senior player not sure he needs to keep repeating himself in the media.
Fully agree with the above and previous post from Dezzy. Pontus needs to focus on his own abilities, zip it, and get back in his box. He has not proved himself yet in my eyes, despite some fans stroking his ego. He is proving why he is a million miles away from captain material, hints of selfishness, and not team spirited in my humble opinion.

Radz comes along employing rookie coaches, they deploy a liability as a captain & then lumber him to play alongside the likes of Pennington, Cooper & Shaughnessy. Is it any wonder his form & confidence dipped ?

If Pontus makes a move to a premiership club I wouldn't blame him after last seasons fiasco as he doesn't want to be trudging about in the championship with a bunch of dead legs seeing his ambition & career go up in smoke !

David Harvey for me
 Agreed.

Morning Azkalwhite and Tradeladder, fans were all over him on social media in his first season. He was like a celebrity figure.

It definitely went to his head.
