Never heard of Tinker and Tucker, was that a northern thing?

Anyway - Playing cricket with me dad, playing Fred in junior school, tennis ball football at break times in secondary modern on tarmac tennis courts (actually used to get to school up to an hour early to get games in, there were always three games going at any one time.) Watching Hampshire in the summers, Aldershot Town in the winters

Didn't watch a lot of TV, always out playing over the Army Ranges in old tanks and on the firing range sand hills. Basingstoke canal 100 yards away from my fron door was great for cycle races ...lost count of the times we went in

Broke my leg/shoulder/ankle twice and wrist once. Before I got to 15

Went over the park with my lad a few months ago, there were 3 lads there, well we ended up playing 60 seconds which they'd never heard of. SHOCK.
They loved it, see the one lad occasionally now, sticks his thumb up and says 60 seconds.

We used to put a jumper down next to the last person; if you cleared the jumper, the next person lay down. Never landed on anyone but a few close calls!!
