That defence had done very well at the start of the year with the exception of Dallas in for Douglas, think Alioski. Could drop back to LB with Clarke ahead of him, experienced head behind the young lad, really belive this is the game for him to shine.

Early in the season to be saying this but big game Wednesday, we can start to get the show back on the road with a convincing win anything else and the perception that we are repeating last season will grow massively.

Let's face it Dezzy we all knew it was coming, there was no way they were going to just fine him.
If a so called 'model pro' like Vincent Kompany for example had said it, it would have been a fine for sure.
But missing a game against the bottom side low on confidence is definitely the best we could have hoped for.

True, i think/ hope having Pablo back may bring the best out of Ayling again.

Interesting thing is he admits his mistakes, thinks out loud almost, Dallas on paper is your solid pro who does a decent make shift job, yet to see much from him though, strange that he is reluctant as he wasn’t shy with Shackleton earlier on, maybe protecting him, feels 20/30 minute cameos are what’s best for him, but as you say, bottom of the table team at home, Alioski has played LB for his country and did well for us against Brentford when he dropped back.

This leauge really is for the taking, add bamford and Izzy brown back into this squad plus no reason we can’t add a new signing in January, Bielsa surely would be tempted as he finds out more about the players he has and what’s needed in the leauge, exciting times
