F-T 2-0, Bristol offered very little and once they lost a guy the die seemed cast. Not a great performance but we look a lot better with Saiz playing than not

Thought he was playing in the States and was "highly rated" which now seems like a ad campaign for something not very good someone is trying to flog. Also thought he was recommended by Pep as a favour for MB

Need to perform better, we didnt look like scoring until they had there player sent off, but then again neither did they look like scoring.

Comfortable in the end, 3 points is what counts first and foremost, but better sides will not be so kind, like Blades next week.

If Harrison wasnt Peps boy there is no way he would keep getting picked, he is starting to annoy me.

Must admit to relief that we won - wasn't confident when BPF was injured in addition to Pontus. I suppose our reserves did as well as could be expected.

Still don't understand why MB doesn't use Clarke - I wonder about MB and him - beginning to seem like a TC/Klich problem, although I have no evidence for that.

Inclined to agree (not that i want him to be injured but if he had a niggle for a few games).

Absolutely convinced the only reason Bielsa persists is because he is Peps lad.

Harrison is a good option as a sub (although so would Clarke) as he has the pace to run at tiring defenders. Just looks like he is lacking confidence in himself and as such picking the wrong options, going safe when he should take a shot, then the next time dwelling on the previous error and shooting when he should pass etc. Definitely a good player there (also with Clarke) if he can sort out the end product (would deffo say he is closer than Sacko will ever get).

Wish MB didn't know Pep, we might not be stuck with Harrison then. MB is very stubborn in persisting with someone who has no end product at all infact if it wasn't for roofe and Pablo we'd be nowhere but bottom 6 . How is it that most fans here share the same opinion on most players but MB continues to choose players who are so out of their depth it's embarrassing and leaving obviously talented and hungry players out of the squad or on the bench at best. Just starting to irritate me. Rant over.

Sorry meant the states. He was playing in man city's team there. They did the same thing with mooy who they brought over here, loaned him out, then sold him for 10 mill to huddersfield. It's a good way to make some money. Might be "highly rated" for the championship but doubt he was every intended to be a part of man city's squad now or in the future

Not sure there is a good player in Harrison and to be honest I don't care, we have nothing to gain by "teaching him" or bringing him along for MC to sell to someone else. He's gone next season and I'd much rather have a player that can contribute and we can keep going forward

No sign of any right footed ability, too slow of thought, needs too long to make a decision, lacks any creativity. He won't get a better chance than today and should have gotten a shot away in the 5 minutes he had possession about 8 yards out, but badly fluffed his lines. Then just running head down with no clue what he was going to do with the ball on that break was Sunday league stuff . Not asking he should score or play a killer pass just get a right footed shot away and lay a pass off ...

Huffer - 6 - Came through fairly well, some dodgy moments and zero command of his area but those things come with experience

Dallas - 6 - Poor in defence, did alright going forward
Cooper - 7 - TBH hardly noticed him Bristol offered little threat through the middle
Haalme - 6 - Promising debut, did the simple things well
Douglas - 8 - Excelent today I though, some good long range passing and a wicked shot that could have put us one up a lot earlier
Phillips - 8 - Excellent, was everywhere today but it was his type of game as BC didn't threaten the middle of the park. One suicide pass gets him knocked down a point
Forshaw - 6 - Looked better deeper once he settled.
Klich - 7 - Quality as always but didn't have his usual impact on the game and looked a little tired
Hernandez - 9 - Got better as the game wore on and better still once Saiz gave him freedom.
Alioski - 5 - He's trying too hard and his output is suffering because of it, didn't add much today other than a half chance
Roofe - 8 - Another predators goal and did some good work outside of that, movement is still causing defenders trouble and holds the ball up very well. Good vision

Saiz - 8 - Starts and he's probably MotM, we looked a different class with him on
Harrison - 4 - Needs time out on loan ...oh wait! More poor stuff than good today. Had the chance of the game and only ended up going the wrong way
Baker - ? - Not enough time

The first half was very lack lustre, Pablo did some very dubious passes - I told Pat he was nervous cos he knew I was in the Kop

Had a bloke next to me who spent the entire game shouting obscenities at just about everyone

Cut to the second half and it was much better. Everyone seemed to settle down, some of the passing was simply breathtakingly sublime. Pinpoint accuracy

The atmosphere was brilliant, 10/10 for the home fans

Two goals, a clean sheet for our rookie goalie, what's not to love
