I prefer the closing down you get from him as I think Phillips sits off too much. Phillips better on the ball but he does pass sideways an awful lot to inflate those pass stats. Like I say going to be interesting to see, assuming Coop and PJ, start who plays in front. I'd not like to call it.

Maybe but next week Norwich may have to be a bit more adventurous against us than most of the clubs we have played against.

Rotherham and Stoke set out their game plans knowing we were desperate for the points.

I don't think we are next week.

He showed his shot stopping and taking crosses capabilities were excellent but there's no need to come through a dozen bodies at the edge of the area , this could be a rocky ride.

New country, new league he will take time to settle. And with a makeshift centre back pairing maybe he was trying to take command.

Yeah Square WBA are physically a stronger side than us and probably better man for man aswell. Team we must beat at Elland road. Not to mention Narwich. Come on Leeds man up and get into 'em both

It's an absolutely crucial win but we really need to step it up a lot. We keep playing like this and we'll steadily drop down the table because we're absolutely scraping results whenever we get them atm.

Way too slow getting the ball forward imo when we start games and we usually end up conceding causing us to step it up and try to get back into the game.

Hernandez has been poor for a while for me and I'd much rather see someone else start instead of him. Same young Clarke. Harrison just about scraping his position atm.

Roofe feeding off scraps but felt he should have done better a few times with the half chances he had.

Casilla looks really quality. Saw him come for a ball at the end unnecessarily but apart from that was faultless and looks really assured.

Hopefully bielsa will change it up a bit and not just keep it the same because we scraped the win

What options do we have?

Philips into midfield and Roberts the only real possibilities at the moment.

Hardly noticed the ref apart from the anti-fergie time...

Fantastic be back back on the winning side of the ledger with the bonus of both Norwich and Sheffield United dropping points. Another step closer to promotion :)

No it wasn't

I think today proves why some have reservations about Clarke starting games

Looked like a fish out of water, his teammates were poor too in what was a shocking first-half

Only Pablo could make that pass. Roofe missed a open goal, should have buried it

No i dont think so, so many were poo 1st half as you say, asking a lot for an 18 year old to do everything, only touched the ball 17 times, cant do much if he isnt being used.

Plenty more deserved criticsm before Clarke imo.

Klich wasn't playing well '63 but that's why we shouldn't take off a potential goalscorer

Agreed, thought it was poor, if anything is going to cost us promotion it is that sort of thing (not just Roofe of course).

Norwich were roughly twice as clinical today.
