I know the game was as good as over but just love Shackleton's attitude to the game, in general not just when he came on, his forward drives are very impressive, every bit as good a prospect as Clarke.

Well said. We are all wanting the same thing and we all have our opinions as to how it should be done . If players aren't performing why shouldn't they be benched for a while ? Bielsa's faith paid off last night but does it take a top of the table clash to always get them up for it ? The prize for promotion is ginormous - they should be up for it every game here on in. Shame every game isn't on sky as it seems they perform better .

It will hopefully give the players a big lift and hopefully restore confidence amongst the fans, however I fancy that most of our remaining matches will see performances much more like the Bolton and QPR ones. The hope though would be that Hernandez, Bamford and Roberts will have got their confidence back and we will be able to take the chances that we missed in the Bolton and QPR matches and especially like the QPR match get the win that we would have got if we had been more clinical, despite it being a poor performance.

Rarely does a team win promotion playing great football. I am sure last season Wolves edged a lot of scrappy matches due to a moment of individual quality rather than simply blowing opposition away.

They probably did Weasel and I remember they lost 4-1 at Villa.

3 wins away= 9pts
22 pts overall (2 per game) might just see them over the line.
Imo Norwich will be champs, we're fighting for 2nd .

I'm fairly certain we finish top three but no idea which position...I'd expect Norwich to stumble at some point, SU are a very good team like us, WBA may find a small target on their backs now and Middlesborough are the dark horses ...their defence is a bit good and that could be key in the run in

Every man jack of that side played their part. We played like champions making a team with plenty of premiership experience look very ordinary

Positives

Early goal, one of the quickest goals in our history.
Team performance.
Totally dominated the game.
First time we've scored four goals since Derby back in August.
At last we finished a team off & made it a comfortable ride for our fans.
Pablo's sublime strike + influential throughout the game once again.
Roberts growing into a top player, scared the living daylights out of the Baggies with his runs through the heart of their defence.
Alioski was everywhere, on the left, down the middle, on the right, at that back & finally from his LB role pops up in the six-yard box to tap in the 4th goal. Ali is like battery operated bunny.
Casilla deserved his clean sheet at last.
Ayling back on song.
Pontus & Cooper solid as a rock against their free-scoring front three.
My boy Phillips tenacious in midfield & at the back, some of those tackles.
Klich looking good again.
Harrison's best game of the season.
Bamford's two goals, led the line brilliantly up top.
Dallas, steady eddie.
Shackleton's impact in the few minutes he was on the park.

Klich was as good as any of them, difficult one to rank to be honest. I wouldn't argue if you made Casilla man of the match. I did mark Alio down for some reckless challenges. I don't like he goes to ground to make the tackle and how he didn't concede a stupid pen I'll never know. I'm almost certain he will cost us a game at some point
