Oh my did any of you see how Grealish put his left leg on the West Brom defender and insinuated a foul..... didn't touch him and got the penalty.

Gayle off for a second yellow. Stretching for a ball and his momentum takes him into the keeper. Not entirely sure what he's supposed to do there? It's a contact sport and he can't not attack a cross.

Didn't see anything wrong with that...more Villa cheating for me.

What are the chances he's getting banned for simulation and the goal chalked off?
I'd reckon close to 0.
Kodija on... clearly not injured too badly v us.

Neither team looking great. Let's hope Brom kick ten shades of sh*t out of them in the second leg, cause some injuries.

Unbelievable.
Don't understand why VAR can't be introduced for the Play off's, who cares if it hasn't be used throughout the Championship season your talking about 180 million at stake for poor ref's decisions.
You bust your arse all year and a dodgy ref's decision will over ride your whole season.
That was really poor Grealish should be suspended IMO

Villa certainly getting away with things, I've really grown to dislike Dean Smith.

Need to see the Grealish pen back... Sky neglected to linger on the decision for some reason...

I try to avoid thinking about it like that, but there definitely seems to be a lean on at the moment.
The media narrative will want a Derby/Lampard vs. Villa final.

You just get the feeling we've been fighting fate all season...not our year and no one is to blame. Great effort whatever happens in the next 4 days

Please no. His behaviour brought reproach on the club when he was here.
He carries a reputation as a racist thug and no matter what he does going forward it will never leave him.

No question he made some mistakes during his time as a player but racist thug? Half the Charlton team are black.

Hi Chilli D I just recall him facing a court pleading guilty after an affray in a fast food outlet where his victim claimed he shouted racial abuse at him.
There was another occasion too. I lost count of the times we was in court when he played for us too.

Hi Ian, Yes there were incidents for sure but who hasn't said and done things in their younger days they now regret deeply. I know I have.
I doubt very much he would have even been considered for the Charlton job if there was even a hint of him having those thoughts now.
Hopefully he has matured into a better person.

Re: Who will win the championship play-offs ?
Is it just me who'd rather play Villa then WBA in the final?
If we get through (no chickens being counted) but I'd fancy us vs Villa more then WBA.
Know Villa are the form side and WBA would be without Gayle but WBA are the only side in the playoffs who have beaten us, Villa and Derby havent looked capable of beating us once when we have played them (not that they arent but in the games we have played never felt like we were going to lose if that makes sense).
We were the better side every game vs Derby.
Better side at Villa park, as good if not slightly better then Villa at Elland Road.
Just would rather avoid the only side that has shown they can beat us.
