Jesus, within 2 games we've gone from being a team that's going to finish next season in the top 10 of the premiership, to bemoaning the fact Forshaw will be our DM next season, without this season being over, yes it is very disappointing that it's the play offs and not auto's but anyone would think we'd been relegated not in the Championship play offs for the first time since 2006. Who knows who will be in our squad next season, we don't even know what division we'll be in. It's disappointing but ffs get a grip, this is the best season we've had in years and a season a head of where most of us thought we'd be.

Back in the team after his surprise omission v Brentford Phillips showed why he'll play in the premiership next season as he had Jack Grealish in his pocket.

Top man, top performance Kalvin :clape:

Brilliant Kalvin

Kalvin Phillips vs. Aston Villa:

79 touches
54/61 successful passes
8 ball recoveries (most by any midfielder) ⭐
6 tackles won (most on pitch) ⭐
4 fouls
7 crosses
2 chances created
2 interceptions

Won the most tackles and successfully nullified the threat from Grealish. 👏

Mr Consistent, rarely puts in a poor performance

Kalvin has been given another responsibility of late as our flair players seem incapable of delivering a decent cross especially from corners

Come on Leeds, one of the main reasons I want us to go up this season as I'd miss Phillips in our line-up when he's gone. Right now he our best player & that is why premiership clubs are putting bids on the table for the lad

The less shooting the better for Kalvin I think... don't think you can count that one in his positives!

I think he's better when given a specific 'job', i.e. man marking Grealish. He has definitely improved with better coaching and hopefully he'll be here for seasons to come.

His shooting has definitely gone to pot. I dread it every time he sees a opportunity to shoot

Case in point. Players improve season on season. 90% of Leeds fans wanted him gone end of last season. I took some heat defending him on waccoe ..now he's their god and others "have to go" ....

Think Kelvin will be one of the most important players to keep in the summer, there will be big interest in him no doubt. Say 10m for Clarke, you’d imagine a similar price tag for Pontus, there should be no need to sell him, he’ll only get better I feel now he has a season at DMF under his belt

Indeed he will Dezzy, he also stepped up playing as one of our main CB's when Pontus or Cooper were unavailable. Phillips must be a managers dream !

Tbf mate Phillips is ten times the player under Bielsa just as with the significant improvement in Roofe/Cooper/Ayling/Klich/Alioski game since Marcelo's arrival in the hot seat

Bielsa bought out the talent, he didn't just suddenly learn how to play football. The talent was always there and that is what I see or don't see when watching footballer. I always ignore form

You can't teach talent and you cannot teach speed. Roofe and Phillips have always had talent. Klich was always good, he was outstanding on loan too, he just sussed the no mark Christiansen very quickly and fell out with him. We play Klich over O'Kane and others in CMF last season we make the playoffs...imo

He had an awesome season, when you compare to the season before. Another pre season under Bielsa will only improve him. Here’s hoping we get to see it

I got the feeling he was going the way KP reacted towards our fans at the front of the kop at the end of the Derby play-off game, I maybe wrong I only hope it wasn't his last goodbyes.

Phillips will not be easily replaceable, massive loss if he goes

Never denied I have my favourites

Pablo, Phillips, Ayling & the sadly departed Pontus.

Hopefully I can add White & Costa to my list

So according to some Phillips wsn't at his best v Bristol City

Wow he gave the ball away 10% of his passes

Our best player after Pablo & White imo!

How he wasn't in some fans final six in the MOTM comp is beyond comprehension, he just knits our defence & midfield together

My god we will miss KP should he leave Leeds this week

Thank god our future England star (hopefully next season) is staying at ER :-D

So highly regarded by everyone at Leeds.

I'd imagine a managers dream

Thank you Kalvin for your loyalty, a rarity in football these days :clape: :supbo:
