Oh and another thing, it has been mentioned already elsewhere about the language barrier it about time MB decided to put to use his English. He needs to get through to his players in the dressing room in tough games like the one we lost last month.

Good point Ian Hopefully Marcelo is working on his lack of the English language.

He wasn't as good as he was built up to be and if he stays, hopefully the defence/goalie sweeper will have got their act together by the start of the season.

quality he isn't. as a sweeper keeper you need to communicate with your defence and this fella doesn't open his gob . we need someone british imo who can actually bark and command the back line. his distribution isn't great neither . made a couple of good saves but overall been disappointing . bin him for me. rating 5.

Communication and understanding is paramount, without this the defence collapses. His powder puff distribution 50 mtrs up in the air to the full backs is schoolboy standard. Surely he himself and the coaches can see the problems it causes. He's not convinced me at all and for 30k a week coming from RM I'd say get rid , system or no system he just isnt worth it. More goals, defeats and cockups since he arrived which cost us promotion.

Retain. As things stand he is the best we have at the club. I think I read somewhere he was unsettled and looking for a move home.

Retain - I like Meslier but would prefer him as back up for another year. Rather than sign a 1 year keeper, I'd rather keep Casilla for another year and have Meslier fight to replace him

this is the keeper who got us to the top of the league, and kept us there most of the season..

With Spider boy doing so well, it will keep him on his toes, so keep for me 7/10
