I couldn't tell you anyone's position. A bit like under 9's but with skill.

That's the key Chilli, I have never seen a Leeds side appearing so fit & sharp in their first friendly game. To be fair York looked like a pub team.

..and no not a euphemism

Bowls match finished at 4.45pm, got home about 5.30pm so I didn't miss the game mate

That really was heartening. Back to Bielsa ball with comfort mostly, this squad has a leg up from last year, this will allow Bielsa do even more work with them over the summer. Roofe looks solid, has he put on a bit of weight? Looked a lot stronger in his upper body, really hope he stays, two contract extensions and two players in before they jet off to Oz and I would have every faith that we have the potential to go up as champions.
This week will hopefully will tell us the direction he’s taking us

First time I've clapped eyes on these four :clape:

Casey. built like a brick house, comfortable on the ball
Jenkins. really impressed with this lad, controlled the midfield
McCarron. confident & looks to have a bit of pace
Mujica. nice movement from ex-Barca man

Hosannah, Oduor, Gotts all shone from last seasons U23's

Really enjoyed that. Out of the blocks and away. The difference between this game and the first friendly of last season against Forest Green was stark. Everybody knows their role, and they look exceedingly fit.

For the first time ever, I personally know a Leeds United footballer. I used to play in the same Sunday League team as Ollie Casey's Uncle. Been keeping an eye on him in the U18's, but I didn't think he would push through so quickly.

You're better than me at remembering them! I got BPF, Ali and Phillips.

I'd assume a few of the kids from today will be there, and potentially those MB wants to see more running from

Think Roberts is still unfit too?

When you look at that team and what we put out tonight, the squad is really looking good, CB the glaring shortage, but cover everywhere else looks solid if you add some u23s in, are we going to see the fruits of our spend on youth over the past two years? No reason why 2/3 of those young lads make the step up to the first team, which would really add the depth to the squad we lacked last year.
