A) I left because I was going to be 4th choice centreback

or B) I left because I was a disruptive influence

Much easier to say it is down to money.

I have said earlier that it simply comes down to him not being in Bielsa's starting plans, as he wasn't last year.
Ya, that too but we need cash to bring players in, we knew that before his comments, his ego is hurting he’ll bite back.

Some pretty scathing stuff here.
"Our sister site The Daily Mirror" requires a pinch of salt, but I can see some of those things being the case.

I'm told by someone who generally knows about these things, the fee was actually £4m up front, with another £1.5m in add-ons to come. I'm not sure whether the latter are guaranteed or conditional.

Anyhow, even at the top figure, Bees fans can't believe we got him.

Come home to what, sitting on the bench behind White, Coop and Berardi ?

You may disagree but Bielsa picks the team and I think his order of preference would be the same as Faaip suggests.

I cant see it but people disagree on why we sold PJ anyway.

Regardless he definitely didnt want to leave and its nice he came back to support his mates.

Pontus cooked his goose when he disobeyed Marcelo's orders. I can understand his actions as I would never give a goal away & throw a match to appease others!

We shat on one of best players since relegation fifteen years ago, however he still isn't bitter

Can't think of a single game where Pontus would have started for us this season outside of the league cup. Berardi is preferred and the better footballer.

pontus was preferred almost the whole of last season, no reason why it would be any different especially given his form at brentford
