1964white wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 10:13 am How many incoming player will Leeds bring in? Who would you like to see sign?

Still need three players imo!

I'd take Gayle in a heartbeat, we'd cruise the championship with that scrote in our squad, but at least he would be our scrote  doubt we can afford him. We need a striker to compete with Bamford, we probably require a back-up striker too

What did you make of Casilla's performance? Is he good enough for the No1 jersey? If not, we have until Thursday to replace him?

Of couse he's good enough. All the nonsense comparing him with BPF. Kiko is different class. Casilla saved us twice when player the role of the last defender clearing the ball when Bristol were clean through plus a smart low save at his near post. Caught & punched high balls. Controlled not only his box but a third of the pitch

What kind of impact would you imagine Jack Clarke will have this season?

Would expect him to be eased back in with the occasional sub appearance to build his confidence back up

Jack will struggle to get a first team place especially if we sign Kent too. Sub appearances only I reckon. Hopefully can take his chance when the opportunity arises

Left flank problem (not highlighted)

Douglas had a mare, Alioski was no better. Our best LB in pre-season was young Davis & Leif showed his two experienced colleagues how it is done when he came on. Marcelo will prefer D & A ahead of Davis however I reckon the young lad deserves his chance
Totally agree with your comments about the LB position 64

Agree with you about Kiko. He and Cooper seem much more on the same page on yesterday's evidence, and for all the (fair) complaints of his shakiness on cross, folk seem to have missed at the least three vital saves he made, he was unlucky not to keep a clean sheet.
The deflection fooled Kiko, not his fault

Thought he was superb yesterday

Fans have the same problems with Pablo & Phillips

Palbo gives the ball away - so bleeding obvious some of his passes will go astray as he generally makes the most passes & he's always looking for the dream sublime pass, so unlucky a couple of times not to feed a couple of his colleagues in with chances. He won the game for us yesterday, god knows where we would be without him. Premiership player!

Phillips doesn't make the tackle or a misplaced pass

Tell me a defensive midfielder in the any league who doesn't win a tackle or misplaces a pass or two. KP was generally outstanding again

Sorry I just don't get some of the criticism our two best players receives, maddens me tbh

Any criticism needs to be aimed at our defending on the left flank, that's where our problems lies

I can see MB benching Douglas as well. If he has another poor one against Forest i think that'll be his lot until injuries set in. He did well at Wolves in their system but alas our system just isn't for him. MB wants to see him going forward but it affects his defensive game where he just cannot find the right balance. He did get into some good attacking positions and delivered decent crosses and worked well with Harrison upfield but defensively he's a no no from me.

Glaringly obvious to me Chilli, needs sorting swiftly

Charlie Taylor rarely got caught out of position & nine times out of ten blocked the ball from coming into the box

Even Wolves fans admitted he wasn't a great defender

Maybe use him more prominently upfield but leave the defencive duties to others.

I think Phillips had a very good game second half but was off the pace in the first, left in their players wake on at least 2 occasions and didn't seem to have the will to recover it. A half time talk probably did the trick.

Not sure they got a choice, we probably loaned him on our terms not theirs for once. Difficult to see where he fits in to be honest.

White fed better balls to Harrison and he was at opposite end/side of the bleeding pitch!

I think you all maybe quite surprised how long MB sticks with Douglas. You'll probably be quite surprised by his rating of him too.

Do you think that's why Cooper has blocked me on twitter.

Only LUFC player ever to do so?

Shame we can't have a bigger bench..We have about 15 players deserve to be on it when all are fit for me

Miazek
Costa
Shackleton
Bogusz
Clarke
Berardi
Gotts
Alioski
Davis
Dallas
Roberts
Oduor
Struijk
Edmondson
Mujica

none of those would let us down if they needed to come on in my opinion ...
