More seats available for home fans

Post by 1964white »

Makes sense rather than have many empty seats, just hope our fans have some type of protection such as netting to deter flying objects as used at other grounds

EXTRA SEATS RELEASED FOR BRENTFORD

Tickets available in the lower away section for home fans for the first time ever.

For the first time ever home supporters will be given access to purchase seats in the West Stand lower away section due to investment at Elland Road over the summer months.

This arrangement will be dependent on the fixture in hand but will be in operation for the first time during the Sky Bet Championship game against Brentford on Wednesday 21st August.

The club took the decision to make this possible due to the huge demand from home fans for tickets over the last 12 months. There have been many occasions where away supporters have only filled the top tier in the West Stand away section meaning hundreds of seats have been left unsold and unfilled.

This new configurations will mean that more supporters will have the chance to buy a ticket helping us to pack the stands out at every match and in turn help to further improve the electric atmosphere at the stadium, making Elland Road a fortress.

A new entrance has been installed at Howards Bar which has created two separate entry points for both the away supporters and home supporters located in that section of the stand.

Ahead of every home match, and only once all of the general admission areas have sold out everywhere else in the stadium, the away support will be reviewed and fans will then be informed whether or not tickets will be available in the lower section. These seats will only be made available for purchase to Gold Members and Season Ticket Holders.
