Oh i do like to be by the seaside.....

I'll miss all this

I'll miss waking up to these views from our apartment windows

I'll miss the walk along the harbour/beach coastline with Mrs 64 at 8am as we pick up our papers then sitting on a bench drinking coffee taking in all the beauty of the blue sea/sky. All very serene with only the noise of the seagulls in the background

I'll miss the culinary fish dishes & desserts + the wine & malt. St Andrews Bistro & the Mermaid top of our list for the best food in St Ives. I'll also miss the prawn & crab sandwiches during the day

I'll miss the natives we've got to know over the years, oh & Aggi the now 16yo black & white cat who is looked after by the local shopkeepers & restaurateurs

On Sunday afternoon we had a fantastic time watching this crazy lot on the beach amongst 300/400 others, got some great close up photos on my phone. A band from Brittany i believe

Visits to Marizon (St Michael's Mount is amazing close up) Porthreath, Mullion Cove, Lizard, Truro & Padstow all made for a truly wonderful holiday once again. Roll on next year :-D

Sandi is down in Cornwall for a week or two from Wednesday, I'm missing it again this year. Prefer the likes of Porthtowan and Stagnes to Mullion and Falmouth to St Ives but that's just me

Excellent value for money pub/restaurant, seafood mornay as good as I've had anywhere, full of seafood and a lovely sauce for £12.95.
