A much more threatening FK with his first touch though

Alioski shows why we don't score many. In good position he tries something just about impossible and loses possession...

Looks like a dive wins Brum a FK edge of box dead centre

Then Pederson just over from a header after a nice move from Brum

Casilla - 7 - Good game, never truly tested
Ayling - 7 - Some very good defending, some awful attacking passing
White - 8 - Another masterclass but for 70 minutes Birmingham offered nothing
Berardi - 7.5 - Good coverage all over the defence,
Alioski - 6.5 - Always tough to score Alio and usually the suspect defending is covered by good work going forward. Good in defence today but just plain wasteful attacking
Phillips, 8 - Got there for the goal but some awful corners and fairly quiet for me in game,
Klich - 5 - Poor out of position today...needs to be deeper
Dallas - 6.5 - Worked hard and some good work in defence nullified by a lack of end product up front
Costa - 7 - Good game but does disappear at times, when he's involved he's dangerous
Harrison - 8 - Oh but for a defensive error or two this would have been close to perfect, set up Phillips for the goal (He'll get a key contribution for that from me). Set up Bamford twice and Alioski once and should have had up to 4 assists today.
Bamford - 4.5 - Yes low, yes a touch unfair but that chance in the first half epitomises all that is currently wrong with paddy atm. I'm assuming the confidence has gone. Nketiah buries that..

Nketiah - 7.5 - Chalk and cheese, holds the ball up well, links play well, drew fouls and worried the defence with good movement. pace and energy

Roberts - 7.5 - Enjoyed this cameo, he brings something different to the party. Clever reader of the game but needs minutes

Douglas - 6.5 - Nice FK with his first touch then not sure I noticed him which ain't a bad thing for a defender..

Brin and Ben at full time have to have a shower and change their trousers
having lost control of their bowels in the final minutes of the game.
and the blue and gold streamers come down onto the pitch... finally
a good colour choice for the centenary, and in sharp contrast to the brown stuff
in the commentators pants.

2nd in the league 2 points behind WBA.
