Maybe it's my color blindness, but why are both teams allowed to wear kits that are so difficult to tell apart? Shouldn't the visiting team be required to wear a distinctly different color?

Jack made an awful short pass that somehow fell into his path, as was the case for the Roberts goal at least Harrison hit his shot first time without taking a touch too many

A excellent performance from our boys. Same old problem though so many wasted opportunities in a game that should have been over at half-time

Positives

We actually shot first time without taking a extra touch for both our goals.
WE scored more than one goal in a game
Yet another clean sheet, defensively sound again.
Relief when we scored our second goal
Three points.
Once again we get a result even though we had a similar amount of possession as the opposition.
Our moves were a joy to watch.

Kalvin's delicious pass for TR to blast over the bar plus his wonderful cross for Ayling's header that also flew over the bar.

So many chances flying high & wide.
Took us 40 minutes to score after so much dominance, game should have been put to be bed by half-time.
At 80 minutes we were still holding onto a slender lead even though the hoops didn't look dangerous.
Was Bamford's goal offside? felt sorry for him as Paddy was unlucky not to score again in consecutive games.

I remember watching a game between Chelsea and Liverpool in the late 80s on a black and white tv and both teams seemed to be the exact same shade of grey.

Was Bamford's goal offside? felt sorry for him as Paddy was unlucky not to score again in consecutive games.

Would like to see a decent replay as looked marginal. A lot of abuse for Bamford on here yesterday especially for the chance where he took it round the keeper. People berating hi for not hitting it first time despite the fact he would have had to hit it with his weaker (right) foot. In my opinion he did the right thing as he took it easily around the keeper and but for a magnificent tackle would have been rolling it into an empty net. The keeper being so far out as well meant Bamford would have had very little of the goal to aim at if he'd hit it first time.

Seems though that his luck is completely out at the moment with the great save last week, crosses going inches in front of him and a dubious offside goal ruled out. I am sure once he gets a goal again the relief will be immense and we will hopefully then see him go and bag a few.

Would like to see a decent replay as looked marginal. A lot of abuse for Bamford on here yesterday especially for the chance where he took it round the keeper. People berating hi for not hitting it first time despite the fact he would have had to hit it with his weaker (right) foot. In my opinion he did the right thing as he took it easily around the keeper and but for a magnificent tackle would have been rolling it into an empty net. The keeper being so far out as well meant Bamford would have had very little of the goal to aim at if he'd hit it first time.

No abuse, just criticism...he was poor again, the fact he's too slow for the system isn't his fault but his football IQ isn't great and the technique poor...the early chance he could have hit with his left....the other thing I've noticed. Is he jumps too early for crosses which means he's coming down as the ball arrives

I don't think he could - the ball was coming from left to right so it was always going away from his left foot. To hit it with his left he'd have had to take it early and due to the keeper being so far out he had no sight or very little sight of the goal if hitting with his left. He would have had to curl it around the keeper which would have been very difficult due to the angle of his run. i think if you hit it early with the left then you'd miss the target. The easier option was the one he took which was to allow the run of the ball to help him go round the keeper and but for a great tackle he would then have an empty net.

I did think at the time as Bamford attempted to round the goalie 'are we going to witness a Allan Clarke type goal', along with Jimmy Greaves those two were the finest strikers I've seen for rounding a keeper & slotting home with comfortable ease. As for the offside decision fans i spoke to who sit in the East Stand thought Paddy was onside. I was jumping up & down like a nutcase when I thought he had finally scored, my excitement only to be denied as I looked towards the linesman, he needed that goal to boost his confidence up.
