We will get two players in for Eddie and Clarke, but just from what I’ve read on Twitter on Bielsas post match comments, he’s talking about the player who is to come in fitness, I’d say he’s turned down players from orta already. I’m a bit worried about the transfer window now, the club surely knew Clarke and Eddie would be gone and should have two players “oven ready “, if we don’t have two players in by Monday next week I’ll be disappointed

Just a personal view, wouldn't be surprised to see us go for a 10 who can fit in as a striker if Bamford is out, someone like Roberts but who's fit.

Which would be Adams to a tee, thought Adams was the best player I saw in the Ch. last season. I'd imagine there's a system issue in Southampton

While I get the logic of only procuring players who are better than what we have, what use is an injured Shacks, Roberts and Forshaw. These players have more or less been out for the entire first half of the season.
So finding a few squad players from outside OR finding away to integrate the U23s is surely a must?

Which makes our first team squad very weak, now Eddie is gone we are working on about 13 players which is ridiculously low, also leaving us extremely vulnerable & very demanding on the regular XI

In a way these recurring injuries could be the blessing in disguise as it makes us more likely to bring a couple of new faces in. Then if the injured players come back it is more of a bonus then a necessity.

We are 9 points clear and we did it with minimal minutes from eddie and zero from clarke - no need to worry about our starting 11 (unless of course there is injuries).

I agree though, even if we sign a few who don't improve the squad but can do a job, it would be a nice safety blanket.

We need bodies in, working with a squad of 13 players is ridiculous.

We have too many injury-prone players who could do a Izzy Brown on us plus the U23's are either not ready or good enough

Must be psychic SG.

We are now being linked to Patrick Roberts (although Boro are favourite)

Just watching Quest and couldn't help but notice one wingers performance.

My ideal signing would be Eze from QPR (never gonna happen).

But how about his 22 year old teammate?

Bright Osayi-Samuel ?
Far as i can tell he is out of contract in the summer.

Probably just one of those 'journalists' for a sh*te site read the post and decided to turn it into a click bait story.

So Southampton saying, Adams not going unless they sign the player they're after and they want guaranteed game time from the club they let him go to, if it happens.

I can see us going into the Owls game (possibly the QPR one) too with just one recognised striker

Ridiculous scenario!

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if we didn't get anyone in at all because this club has always tripped itself up and to have so few players available is absolutely piss poor management. Last season our 23's stormed the league and in most other clubs a couple of those players would have made the step up into the first team but not at Leeds . Just exactly why do we even have a development side ? These players are useless to us if Bielsa won't give them game time. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them go elsewhere in the summer to help progress their career .

We will spend all window going after Adams and then it won't happen and we'll sign no one. I'll just get it out the way now to save you getting your hopes up for a month.

Patrick Roberts has joined Boro on loan.

Fair enough.

We must strengthen and Radz must put his hand in his pocket for BETTER then Eddie and Clarke.

A player who can play as a 10 (winger or striker) is an absolute must.

Players better who fit the system do exist so lets not piss about for a change.

10 or striker, we don't need a winger,

If Southampton want Adams to be given guaranteed match time they can take a flying jump.

We can't do any loan that needs guaranteed game time. I think we'll loan in an 18-20 yr old prem striker with half a dozen first team appearances we can at least sit on the bench while he trains in the system...
