Time Sky have been dreaming of has finally arrived.

Prepare for hours of fawning and butt kissing tonight.

Wonder if they will mention this

Mel has paid them finally so probably not.

He was playing in the MLS for a reason. It took Harrison 8 months to get up to the fitness and speed of the Championship and he's 11 years younger.

Enjoying watching Wayne waddle his way around the pitch so far.

His main threat will be his FCs I reckon.

Rooney and the fans all going on about how they can get promoted after their magnificent display in comfortably thrashing top of the table Barnsley.

Well he got an assist on his debut so I suppose it's the second coming now. So funny when you think about how he'll merely help them to a mid table finish. All Rooney's done is maybe help them avoid relegation.

1 good free kick.

Other then that . . . . Nout.

Had 1 shot (off target)

73% pass accuracy.

Spent most of his time walking and looked so unfit.

But im sure it is the greatest performance in EFL history . . . According to sky.

So they've gone from Frwank Lampard's Derby to little old Derby and now Wayne Rooney's Derby, you've just gotta love Sky...not

This can only end badly. Massive wages you would assume, now they’ve been unable to pay players wages on time, after he set up the goal he ran straight to the coach for instructions rather than celebrate with his team mates, looks like a recipe for disaster

Was a beautiful weighted FC truth be told.

Harrisonesqe...

Seriously though Derby have done a terrific piece of marketing bringing Rooney --who after all is one of Englands best players from this modern era-- to their club.

Marketing wise they will so well.
On the pitch they have a captain, a playmaker and a FC specialist.
And it wont be long before he Cuckoos Cocu.

I'd be happy to see Derby picking up a few wins, too far behind to hurt us and will more than likely take points off our rivals.

Yeah interesting timing when they are unlikely to be able to make a play-off push and unlikely to get dragged into relegation so they can hand down a points deduction which will have no actual effect, like they did with Birmingham.

This will be a brush it under carpet scenario.
EFL under pressure from outside, they do a very loose investigation, find there's no case to answer and it all goes away. But they can claim they did their bit.
