New Stadium it is then!!!
Building a new stadium will always be problematic as so many people have an emotional attachment to the old one. If there's a way to expand ER that would be best. My understanding is that there were plans to get the capacity up to 50,000 or so had the UK's bid for the World Cup been successful. Was this ever a serious consideration? If so, are those plans available?

I had always thought s new staduim built alongside the old one or morphed onto the main stand.

But that is new owner territory.

No new SeasonTickets to be made available according to the official site, unless I'm reading it wrong -

SEASON TICKETS
Leeds United are delighted to announce another general admission Season Ticket price freeze for the 2020/21 campaign – which will be the ninth year in a row the club has done so.

The online renewal process will begin from Wednesday 12th February 2020 when current Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase their seat for next year at the exact same price they paid during the 2019/20 season*. For those who do not purchase online within the first three weeks, paper forms will be sent out to be completed and returned.

The renewal window will close on Friday 27th March 2020 with no plans to go out on general sale as it stands, meaning no new Season Tickets will be made available.

Leeds United will once again offer a finance option with our new partner Premium Credit, allowing fans to spread the cost of their ticket across a six-month period. Please note the finance option is only available online.

Chief Executive Angus Kinnear said: “We are really pleased to announce yet another prize freeze on Season Tickets for the 2020/21 campaign to our supporters who continue to show unwavering support for the players and our club.

“This season we have once again generated the highest average attendances in the Football League and we take this opportunity to thank our fans for their outstanding loyalty.

“We currently have in excess of 23,000 Season Ticket Holders and we hope to retain as many of these as possible, your early commitment is critical and hugely appreciated.”

Hospitality Members will also have the opportunity to renew; with all members set to receive an email from the Leeds United Commercial Department with details of the pricing structure for next season along with the renewal process.

Yep, 50k would be enough. I’ve always assumed this could be done extending the stands one at a time, no need for a new stadium.

I don't understand how the away allocation comes into Home season tickets Leon - wouldn't that be a separate issue?

I was thinking of getting a season ticket and letting someone from here use it until we get to come over but that thought's obviously gone out the window now.
