Kp's blind pass not good Coopers equally poor, but there were a few occasions we pissed about playing hospital balls at the back. That smacks of we are better than we actually are imo.

Lack of match sharpness imo. We can't go 3 months without a game and expect to be at the same level. Cardiff played 2 friendlies and we had none. I think it will be another 2/3 games before we get back to our best, I just hope we don't allow others to catch up.

I don't understand why we would do that, after such a long lay off.

I think this as well.
Hopefully another week's training will sharpen them up.
Bamford looked so off the pace and clumsy even by his standards.

Didn't see where two friendlies increased Cardiff's sharpness as Leeds dominated proceedings without creating much. Our defence is capable of playing some dire balls into other defenders and midfielders looking to make the quick exit. But oh how bad it looks when it goes wrong. Been the same in that respect all season. No need to panic though as you were.... 🤔

Yes, the gap is still 7 and it's a game chalked off.
Five of the last 8 at ER mainly against teams in the bottom half.
I'm not panicking.....yet

Disappointing result.
But not to throw baby out with the bath water. Wer'e always reminded that.. It's not what they do ,rather what we do that's the only thing that really matters.
Leeds United did nothing to suggest nor impress in this one . Final 1/3 is awful, & Cardiff looked strongest , more tactfull & impressive.
Over to you ...

Cardiff weren't great by any imagination, we just gifted it to them. As we always seem to do.

I don't feel quite as sickly after reading that.
A below par performance today, but match sharpness will improve with each game.

The Fulham result and performance is crucial now. A Leeds win and Fulham will need an amazing win streak to secure a top 2 finish.
A Fulham win would make for a nervey final 7 games, but I'm confident Leeds will secure their place with a game or two to spare.

Dissapointing showing and I am pissed off but as I said to a friend who was getting carried away last week, its cardiff away no matter how good we are it's always proved to be a banana skin. Gaps still the same and a win vs fulham would put us in a very good position. Do need to keep an eye on brentford though need wba to beat them Friday.

We lack an X factor, take Pablo out and who do we have that can play that eye of the needle pass, quick and incisive that you need when playing defensive teams?

Roberts as a 10 isnt creative enough (he created 1 chance today).

Harrison (im still baffled by the amount of praise he has gotten this season) is to slow and takes far to many touches. Still think he will end up as a full back.

Costa (tbf to him created 4 chances today) but he needs space our style totally goes against that.

Not signing a proper pacey number 10 is still the single stupidest thing we have done.

Pass and move is great but you need those special talents who can do the hard things vs packed defences, we have to many workmanlike players and to still be so reliant on Pablo is ridiculously bad recruitment.

Saiz never was replaced and it shows.

Completely agree with you. Not about Saiz though very overrated for me.

Agree Alex

Saiz created very little for all the possession he had

All depended on what mood Saiz was in, on a good day he would carve open a defence time and time again. Not enough good days

oh i agree with you on Saiz.

Just he was a 10 and we should have replaced him.

Orta knew best

Got Eddie a striker who couldn't play as a 10 rather then buy Kent a winger who had played as a 10 and a striker

As good as Hernandez has been, I think he is definitely coming to the end of the road. We need a midfielder with real vision, they aren't cheap hence why we don't have one. Bogusz will be that player if he progresses hopefully.

There was one Roberts pass today that scored very high marks for creativity and vision..Think there's a very good player there.

There is, I'm a big fan but thought he was really ineffective today.
Actually think playing with Pablo would bring out the best in him, Costa out, Pablo in for me
