I think we'd all like to see more of that.
I believe they're instructed not to shoot from outside the box, unless they think it's a perfectly clear opportunity, Bielsa worked out there's only a 8% chance of scoring, the % increases greatly inside the box.
This is one of our weaknesses. If you dont shoot it wong go in.
Both Ayling and Pablo have picked up defelcted goals from having a pop from outside the area.
But overall we have very few clean hitters in our side.

Before his change of roll, Phillips did dink a few in from range but rarely has a go now, even though he's lurking around the edge of the box most games.
It's annoying
Very rarely do you see a wonder from Leeds player, obviously for that reason.
Maybe thats why we have so many players unable to put the chances away as they don't practise the art of shooting and just focus walking the ball in after all the fancy build up play.
When was the last time we scored from a 30 yard screamer, or a 30 yard freekick in the top corner? Just doesn't happen any more.
For all our predictability we are still top of the league however it doesn't make it any less frustrating that we should be home and dry by now instead of worrying that we might not even make it yet again. This in itself brings on panic and it's down to the lads and Bielsa to control it. They know they are the best in the league but they're having difficulties proving it because of a crap conversion rate. If it went pear shaped again I as a player would want out unless the club guaranteed PB is sold and replaced with a natural quality centre forward because that for me is the main reason why we didn't go up last season and why it's not already nailed on this season.

As has been mentioned, unless we are on a counter we just don’t get the ball in the box that much relative to our possession in the opposition half. If we got shots in you may get your worldie, but it could also be deflected like Ayling’s V Hull, it could break in the box courtesy of a block, a save or a rebound. All these unnerve a defence and create “in the box” opportunities.
Even when we do pick out Bamford in the box his control and instincts are not of a sharp, speedy goal scorer nature to avail of these opportunities. Tap ins from saves and rebounds he generally can do so let’s go with that for now.

The Luton keeper made some good positional saves but he never held on to one of them, make him make the save and be ready to pounce but we don't have that poacher in the team.
These latest substitution regulations mean Leeds will be able to put their entire first team squad on the bench from now on

Berardi doesn't have a great record coming in cold to his weakest position, is that the line up MB has reported early or just yours?
Think it's been well over a year since Gaetano played left back for any length of time..maybe two. Has to be Douglas for me as he knows the position. Plus he couldn't do any worse than anyone else at the set pieces, assuming fitness of course, with Alio prepped if needed

Does Bielsa insist on his players been fully fit?
If Cooper is only 75 or 80% will he still pick him?
Depends on the injury I'd imagine..It's probably a bruised back which will be better for movement with maybe an injection. He might fel it after though but it's not likely to get worse

I know we’d all want a win but a draw wouldn’t be too bad tomorrow.
We usually struggle there and I can’t see Blackburn losing three on the trot.
They did us last season with the same set piece (pulling our CBs to each post and charging into the gap in the middle)
Another game we dominated but got caught out.

If he plays up front and Blackburn play on the break like everyone else then in a foot race Ben White has little chance and Coops and Berardi especially have no chance.
12 goals and 6 assist, he is talented and just the sort of player that could kill us on the break.
