My best friend, a massive Leeds fan, passed away from Covid 19 5 weeks ago. I am broken hearted that he wasn't here to see this day, but know he is looking down and celebrating. From a Wolves fan..welcome back. You blew last season, ran out of gas and were mentally shot. But Bielsa stuck in there and so did the team in what must be the toughest league to get out of. Just make sure the Baggies don't win the league! Be good to see Leeds Utd on the fixture list and even better if the Baggies weren't on the list!
We had a great first season. Sheff Utd seem to be having an even better one. Defensive frailties in the PL will soon find you out but Bielsa seems to be the kind of manager who can develop the team.
From a Wolves fan..welcome back. You blew last season, ran out of gas and were mentally shot. But Bielsa stuck in there and so did the team in what must be one the toughest leagues in the world to get out of, if not THE toughest. Be good to see Leeds Utd on the fixture list!

Jack desperately wants to play for England. The pressure to move comes from Southgate et al. It started with can't pay for England while you're in the championship, then the pressure became to play in Europe.
When it looked like we were doomed to relegation I think it was understood the club wouldn't stand in his way, and strong rumors were that Jack even had a house picked out in the Manchester area as a move to manure was all but done.
Staying up has thrown a real spanner in the works as our owners want to keep him and will now demand top dollar.
My feeling is that it will cost them every penny of the 80 million and it would be a very satisfying message if we stood our ground and they weren't able to waltz in and take our best player.
