Re: Today's Games

Post by Cjay »

Villa did well vs Arsenal tbf, now they have a chance.

Said before though, imo this season is the weakest Premier league in years.

All the top 6 bar Liverpool will finish on lower then average points totals.

Watford, Bournemouth and Villa all deserve to go down, expect Watford to now.

Wish we'd have gone up last year, think we'd have done ok. Next season be harder.

Because the teams who have had poor seasons wont be as poor next season imo.

Man Utd have looked better recently and will strengthen.
Chelsea are closing in on Havertz to add to the 2 other quality players they have already signed.
I think Arsenal and Spurs will improve to and cant see Man City having another season like this.

Likewise teams like Everton, a quality manager and an owner willing to spend, they will improve to.

      Leicester are on the upturn

Wolves will build again to try and break into the top 6.

Lots of teams in the Prem this season were having transitional seasons or had unusually poor ones.

Next season id expect many of those teams to get there act together.

I'm not that bothered about the top 6/7 as they are in their own mini league. Imo if we get any points from those it will be a bonus. It's the other 12 teams that I'll be looking at securing our 40 PTS from although that might not be necessary it is considered to be the aim of those trying to avoid relegation and if we manage to do that I'll be happy.

Sky sports will show Leeds lifting the title trophy immediately after the WBA V QPR game.

The only thing that was disappointing....

I wanted to hear/see that 'we-did-it' roar from Elland Road supporters at the final whistle. Those who journeyed all over the place season after season, from the Championship to League One, and back to the Championship, and now back to the Prem. I salute all of us damned united, going home never felt so good. What a sight and sound that would've been to behold.

Delighted for Barnsley  They were the best team we've played all season and were miles better than the table showed. Good to see Clarke Oduor getting his first goal.

      Key premiership matches today

      Arsenal v Watford
      Everton v Bournemouth
      West Ham v Aston Villa

Hoping Villa are relegated, bunch of cheating b******s instigated by Jack the Lad & their horrible manager Dean Smith

      Come on Watford or Bournemouth

I'd much rather Watford stayed up, but they looked doomed. Bournemouth still cry about 1990 and would force us to play away on a Tuesday night. Villa for cheating ffp and Terry and Smith.
