Interesting how people go on about Brentford's 'amazing' front 3 yet Brentford have only scored 3 more goals than us this season. And none of their front 3 could score when it really mattered in the last 2 matches. Bottling diving team - hope they blow up in the play-offs too.

weasel wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 8:29 pm Just shows what a waste of time it is when people were trying to predict results based on where teams were in the league. If you take our results after the Cardiff loss then we only dropped points against Luton who have ended the season in great form and only turned in a poor performance against Barnsley who have also ended the season strongly.
That's football. You pick up and you drop points unexpectedly. Otherwise you might as well have computers decide the outcome.

The smiles on the faces of Poveda and Shakelton when they combined to make that goal were priceless.
Did my heart good to see such joyous celebrations... long may it continue.
We have a player in Poveda... low centre of gravity, tricky feet, and pace to burn, and not afraid to take
his man on, yet is sensible enough to make the killer pass. He will be challenging Costa on that wing.

Just saw the Shackleford goal again on the highlights.

Amazing from Struijke to Poveda. Lightning speed and precision from Poveda and Shackleford.

I foresee a generation who could one day compete at the very top, taking us there with them...

Classy sign off from the champions tonight, sorry for charlton and bowyer though I think he will get himself a new job this summer. Happy for WBA think us and them pushed each other on for much of the season before going our separate ways later on, they deserved 2nd. Cardiff to win the playoffs I reckon, unlikely form team going in to it and there isn't much turn around time for brentford to sort their heads out.
