Do you not think Leipzig would do exactly the same in this situation?

Seems to suggest that there is still uncertainty, but it certainly reads as if he is saying 'Goodbye'

Strange one that, come from a fairly reputable source to.

Maybe MB has spent lockdown playing Football Manager and just wants to sign all the best young prospects? :)

Florentino Luis, Thaigo Almada, Jonathan David :)

Strong links to Argentinian international striker Nicolas Gonzalez again.

Plus 33 year old Christian Stuani, had a decent time in Spain tbf to him.

I wondered when we would get linked to him. Ex-Boro and Orta signing.

Sounds like he would like to stay, but won't be allowed to leave by Brighton. I could see him getting restless if he's not a starter by January time.

Lots of people presuming to know what Bielsa thinks about a player.
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

It isn't a great look, if it is our 'defence' however it is a large sum of money involved. I would much rather we look bad and save £20m than spend it on a player we don't want. I'd much rather the club did the honourable thing in regards to Berardi than to act honourably to Red Bull.

Given that certain players refused to play after the June 30th it has set a precedent that contracts ended on 30th June. If JKA had been amazing for us and other clubs had suddenly been interested would Red Bull have pulled the rug out from under us in regards to the 30th June date and then sold him to the highest bidder? You could also argue that if JKA had been fit to play Red Bull would have been able to recall him on June 30th so we could have been in the situation where Red Bull could have ended the loan early. Whilst JKA was getting himself fit during lockdown it would appear a deal wasn't struck to extend the loan period - it may even be that we had wanted to extend the loan period - as it appeared JKA was getting fit and would have been part of our squad - and Red Bull didn't want to extend it.

Anyways all speculation so no point judging until full facts come out.

Good point :)

We look at Florentino Luis and see a defensive midfielder.

Maybe MB sees a cb? He has done that before with javi Martinez.

We could sign a fat, 37-year-old from the Lithuanian 5th Division and I'd still expect Marcelo to turn him into a baller.

I dont like us trying to wriggle out of it by using the Covid 19 delay as an excuse.

I also dont fancy our chances against the financial might of Red Bull, they will have thousands of legal minds all over the world to call on and extremely deep pockets.

Imo the best thing we can do is come to some sort of financial compensation, maybe offer to pay them the remainder of his contract? Wont be cheap but much less then €21mil.

If we lose this we are probably looking at £30mil plus, Leipzig will go for the throat, they will want the transfer fee and probably wages paid for to and legal costs.

Just rather we came to a compromise over a court battle.
I certainly wouldn’t argue with that. Compromise is usually the best way forward in times of conflict.

The player is reportedly keen on Bielsa, seems like he could be a potentially good fit at a price of £12-£15m

It’s a potential red flag if the club are keen to get rid of him. I’d be interested to hear what the Spurs fans think of him...

Argentinian so will get on with Bielsa. Comfortable on the ball but makes a few silly mistakes/takes a few unnecessary chances. Only young so I think he will get better. Definitely a good player in there.

Probably an upgrade on Strike at the moment who's currently our second centre back I would think..As much as I like Pascal to be a very good player in a year or two

Just looking through Harrison's bio, he has had a lot more than 3 years before 21 on English clubs it seems including quite a lot of time at Old Trafford. Should qualify for home grown I would have thought if we can get him again
