God's own country - and pies.

Oh for a real pint and a real pie - not all of the pie you understand, I'd only take half.

Tetleys used to be the finest beer in Yorkshire until Carlsberg got involved and ruined it in the 90s. The once great brewery is currently being redeveloped into a mix of business and residential units and only Huntsman House which is called “The Tetley” remains due to it being listed.
The great Tetley pubs that were all over the city are long gone or have been sold and refurbished
Adelphi
The Whip
The Black Lion
The Guildford
The Precinct
The Horse and Trumpet
The Three Legs
The Goodman

To name but a few

The majority of drinkers seem to drink pop these days, most of my Leeds pals prefer lager to the real stuff

He does not need a translator all he needs is a keyboard that works so he can type properly.
