Wonder if we can get Deli Ali on loan, his days at Spurs looked numbered

Am I the only one who thinks Forshaw is done? Very sad for him, but you don't come back from hip surgery, especially at his age.

Cantwell would be the first time I'd be disappointed with a signing this window. I just think he's bang average, says it all that Norwich fans would be glad to see the back of him.

Originally underwhelmed but he is better than what we have atm (Roberts) and thats all i ask for signings.

Wouldn't worry about what Norwich fans say, many rate him and its a coping mechanism for fans to do down a player who is leaving imo.

6 goals and 2 assists in 27 games isnt a bad return.

I agree i think he is done at the top level unfortunately.

Was never a big fan but wouldn't wish his career to be ruined the way it has.

Although someone met Orta at the airport today and he said he was going to Amsterdam.
Didn't he fly out to Amsterdam before we signed Rodrigo? :duno: Maybe Victor is after a bit of fun beforehand. ;-)

Not hard to be better than Roberts tbf. I'd rather sign Buendia.

So would I, but he’s closer to the de Paul price bracket I think, unless there’s a bargain to be had next week.

Same, id also prefer De Paul but lets be honest, Cantwell will be cheaper than both and maybe he is the best we can afford on our budget if we want to get another player or two in after?

Llorente signing came out of nowhere, so we'll probably sign some random player we've not been linked with. So Messi it is!

Is Koch the only signing we were previously linked with?

Norwich saying no bid gone in for Cantwell yet.

Given how its gone this transfer window fully expecting "BREAKING NEWS, LEEDS AGREE £20MIL FEE FOR EMI BUENDIA" by this time tomorrow.

Of the domestic options id have taken Buendia over anyone else not named Eze.

Why bother with Cantwell? Buendia is an option but getting someone in on the hope they can step up....... we should just work on Bogusz if that’s the case.

I wonder about Dele too. I'm not a fan of loan signings and I bet his wages are humongous

Get them to pay 50% of them. Then I'll take him. :)

Agree. Cantwell no better than Shack anyway. We need quality like De Paul, if not him, then at least around that level.

Forgot about Thiago Almada :)

I’d prefer Buendia, but Cantwell has always impressed me to be fair. At 22, Bielsa has plenty of time to make him the real deal.

By the way, how do you quote more than one post before replying? Can’t get my head round it.

Don't think we should be signing anyone as an 8 or a 10 unless they're top class. Otherwise give Poveda and Shackleton more playing time
