Dope Lemon  - it just has a really catchy hook and vibe about it

Given Onemore yet to vote looks a Yes win looks likely though.

Funny (but at the same time refreshing) how we all have different tastes isn't it, as of the 8 songs in the final I'd put the Yes track (no offence Onemore) firmly at the bottom of the pile.

Of all the songs in this round Mrs64's Elton John nomination was by far my own favourite, but that didn't even make the final.

(Edit: ...............and I've just noticed that this is my all the fours '4444' post, which apparently is an angel number, so my angel spiritual guides and protectors are close at hand. So there ! :) )

I'm not a big prog fan however 'Roundabout' is a iconic song from the wondrous Yes album 'Fragile', the album is believe to have sold over four million copies worldwide, not bad for a band not having a hit single to promote the album, certainly wouldn't happen these days

I'd have been proud to nominate the song myself!

It's always disappointing when great songs are eliminated, although I love early Elton I was surprised it received more votes than the Steely Dan classic 'Do It Again' but hey-ho we should never be surprised as everybody have different tastes

Anyway the competition isn't over yet, I know if BB didn't have a nomination in this Grand Final she would definitely vote for 'Roundabout', she may still do so just as Gandi did.

Honestly, among all my nominations 'Roundabout' was my least favourite (Number one was Mesh Gear Fox but I'll stop flogging that horse).

Yes isn't very well represented on my personal playlist, I am not big into prog rock, but I'll never skip Roundabout when it gets queued. That opening bass line... I mean, that wins the seventies for me. Throw in the keyboard solo and it is an undeniably great tune.

Best song among all those submitted? I don't think so, not even close. But I've discovered this exercise is even more subjective than I ever imagined it would be.

There were a lot of interesting and surprising submissions. Really enjoyed some of the discoveries (and was appalled by a few lol) and there were many discarded songs I would put before Roundabout. But I do think it's the best song among these finalists so it's Yes for me.

Win or lose I had fun so thanks all!
